The employees had never witnessed such a grand spectacle before, and for a moment, they were all left speechless.
Even Nichole's complexion changed. She knew that Sophie was the heiress of the Russell family, but she had never imagined that Sophie was actually in charge of the Russell Enterprises!
"What? Ms. Nichole didn't inform you of my identity?" Sophie stood there, her smile perhaps a tad too enchanting. "I'm Sophie, the CEO of Russell Enterprises and S Corporation, and James' lawful wife."
Upon hearing this, everyone's expressions changed, and their gazes shifted towards Nichole.
If Sophie was James' lawful wife, did that make Nichole the other woman?
Nichole felt the unusual stares from around her and couldn't help but clench her fists secretly.
"Why are you so silent, Ms. Nichole? If there are no objections, could you kindly ask Mr. Donny to come and speak with me?" Sophie handed a document to Tricia, who was standing beside her. "I'm not in a good mood today. Let's end this contract for the year."
Alexis had heard the commotion from her office and walked over with a frown. Upon seeing Sophie, she said, "Sophie, what are you doing here again? Can't you just work properly for once?"
As soon as Alexis finished speaking, she realized something was off from the atmosphere because everyone was giving her a 'better not say any more' look.
Only then did Alexis notice Tricia beside Sophie, and she immediately approached with a smile, saying, "Isn't this Tricia? Are you here to discuss the contract with Mr. Reece? Right this way."
Tricia, expressionless, replied, "It's not me who wants to talk. It's Ms. Sophie Russel, who wishes to speak with Mr. Donny."
"She was here?" Alexis looked around but didn't see Ms. Sophie Russel anywhere.
Tricia pointed out. "This lady here is Ms. Sophie, the daughter of Russell family."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
