Nichole was in the dimly lit basement, devoid of any ventilation. She had only been there for three hours, but it was already becoming unbearable.
"Let me out! Let me out!"
She desperately pounded on the basement door, but not a sound could penetrate the walls.
After a while, the door to the basement opened, and Nichole saw a sliver of light seep in. Before she could rejoice, she saw Katy.
Katy had been tormented for days and was on the brink of a breakdown. The sight of the dark room made her recoil in fear, shrinking back.
"I don't want this. No!"
Katy kept retreating, but she was mercilessly thrown in regardless.
"Ah!" Nichole jumped, feeling Katy crawling towards her.
With a face full of terror, Nichole exclaimed, "What are you doing? I'm carrying James' child! You can't do this to me!"
As soon as Nichole finished speaking, James walked in.
Nichole felt as if she had found her pillar of strength. She immediately rushed over. "James, you finally came to see me! Listen to me, I can explain..."
"No need for explanations." James' voice was colder and more distant than ever before.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
