"Skye, who is she?"
Skye spoke indifferently, "Sophie. Your new friend and also your new rival."
"I know her. She's that heiress from the Russell family who’s been all over the trending searches lately."
"That bankrupt heiress huh?"
"Skye, isn't it unfair to have such a delicate girl compete with us?"
Three ladies stepped forward, voicing their protest.
Sophie also felt it was inappropriate. She was, in essence, a transfer student, but before she arrived, Gordon had already informed her.
In this rehearsal room, only one star would be made. One more person meant one more competitor. Moreover, Sophie had gotten in through the back door.
Skye sneered, "You can choose to leave. No one's stopping you here."
Skye didn't take the three of them seriously at all, and the atmosphere instantly tensed up.
"If you don't want to leave, then stay and rehearse properly. Even if you can't be the one to stand out, you can at least stay as a second-tier talent."
Skye's words were sharp, and no one dared to breathe too loudly.
"Skye, having her here is clearly telling us we're going to be eliminated, isn't it?"
One of the women, with a cool and indifferent look, spoke up, and the others quickly echoed her sentiments.
"If she stays, then we're leaving!"
"Right! If she stays, we all leave!"
Skye was unfazed, coldly responding, "Then leave. I assure you that those who leave now will receive termination letters by this afternoon, along with a notice from the court."
A notice from the court?
Sophie was puzzled, but no one in the room said a word.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
