In truth, the Russell family owned quite a few properties, but most were unoccupied year-round. Sophie chose a luxurious apartment close to the city center, boasting about 1600 square feet—more than enough space for her alone.
The moving company had everything sorted out within three days.
That day, Sophie broke her usual silence by posting an update on her social media.
'Embracing a new life!'
The post included a selfie, half her face visible, and a photo of her new living room.
Jenna commented: [Wow, love it! I want to come over for dinner tonight!]
Adler added: [Count me in. I can cook something special!]
Colby simply said: [Nice.]
Reading these comments warmed Sophie's heart. In her past life, she didn't have many friends, but this time around, she had made many.
When she refreshed her feed, she saw a like from James, which dampened her spirits.
The next moment, a new comment popped up.
Harold: [The layout of this house looks familiar?]
Then, he added another comment.
Harold: [Oh, my family owns a similar one.]
Sophie opened her chat with Harold. She noticed not all posts on his timeline were visible, and it had been months since their last conversation.
'Harold joined the army, did you know?' She recalled the words Gordon had said.
In the end, Sophie decided to put her phone down and not reply to the posts.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
