That day, Lennon had specially arranged for Sophie to visit a high-end boutique to get fitted for her engagement dress. Jenna volunteered eagerly to accompany her as the future bridesmaid.
Outside the boutique, several staff members had been waiting for a while. Upon seeing Sophie and Jenna, they quickly approached to greet them, saying, "Mrs. Costello, Ms. Jenna, right this way, please."
It was the first time Sophie was addressed as Mrs. Costello, causing her cheeks to flush with a hint of red.
Jenna teased from the side, "Mrs. Costello... Ah, it sounds too sweet, doesn't it? Once you're engaged, you'll officially be my sister-in-law, making us family."
"Jenna, stop it!"
Though it wasn't her first marriage, it would be her first wedding ceremony.
Sophie looked at the plethora of wedding dresses before her, feeling overwhelmed by the choices.
"Wow, Lennon is really generous, huh? I've been taking good care of him for so many years, and he's never been this generous with me. He really does have a soft spot for his granddaughter-in-law. His heart is too biased!"
Jenna complained, but she had already started selecting bridesmaid dresses involuntarily.
The designer approached Sophie with the design sketches, saying, "Ms. Sophie, this is the dress design Mr. Colby personally picked out for you. Take a look..."
Sophie glanced at the design sketch and saw an incredibly luxurious white mermaid gown adorned with sparkling diamonds, resembling a dazzling galaxy that was hard to look away from.
"He personally approved of this?"

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
