Adler yelled, "Colby! Come on, man, we're like brothers. Don't let me die here, alright?"
"Yeah! I don't want to die either! I'm your sister!" Jenna was mid-sentence when she paused and added, "Well, cousin technically, but still family!"
"..." Sophie cautiously poked her head out and asked, "Uh... is this codename K really that terrifying?"
Adler and Jenna nodded vigorously.
Realizing that covering their ears was pointless, they exchanged glances and dropped their hands. Jenna said, "Sophie, listen, let them handle their own mess. As for who K is, we genuinely don't want to know!"
"Exactly! Zero curiosity here!" Adler's tone was firm.
Sophie hesitated, "But... why do you look so eager to find out?"
Adler: "..."
"We don't know who K is, but the Mintons have been working for the K Corporation, a group we've never been able to pin down because they've kept themselves hidden," Colby explained.
Adler asked, "Hidden? How do they hide? All publicly traded companies have business licenses, and their information is out there. You can look it up online."
Sophie chimed in, "What Colby means is that the company's identity is kept secret. It doesn’t go by K Corporation. It’s probably a large company that appears legit but does shady stuff behind the scenes. And the Mintons are their money-makers."
Jenna thought for a moment, then asked, "So you're saying this K Corporation could be any company?"
Adler said, "It couldn't be one of our families, right? We run our own companies. We’d know if there were any issues."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
