"Exactly, I got into a fight with a dog! Neither of us had our wallets!" Adler explained anxiously from the side.
Sophie nodded, suddenly understanding. "So, you two went out for a late-night snack, got drunk, fought a dog on the way, and ended up sharing a hotel room?"
"Exactly!"
"That’s right!"
Neither Adler nor Jenna seemed to think there was anything off about their response.
Sophie nodded, saying, "So... the result is that you two ended up sharing a room."

Both Adler and Jenna swallowed hard.
With a smirk, Sophie said, "Mr. Adler, I must say, you really know how to stay under the radar until it counts."
Jenna's face turned a rare shade of red, and she glared at Adler, "This is all your fault!"
After saying that, Jenna stomped upstairs.
Adler was about to follow her but realized Sophie was sitting across from him. He clasped his hands together pleadingly, "Please don't tell Colby! You mustn’t say a word!"
After saying this, Adler hurriedly chased after Jenna.
Sophie sighed, shaking her head helplessly. These two really are a pair of lovable fools.
Sophie put down the hotel register she was holding. As she got up, she heard the sound of high heels clicking at the door.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
