Chapter 500 The Terrible Picture of Two Women
"Miss, I'm sorry to tell you that you can't enter today!"
"Why? My boss asked me to protect his daughter."
"I'm sorry. My master said no adult is allowed to join the party. Please leave!"
Jessica didn't know this rule.
At the beginning, she wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to get close to Bonnie. Jessica never expected that she would need Bonnie so much.
She wasn't allowed to enter. Was there any solution for her?
Just then, Molly walked here and said, "I want to see my niece!"
Jessica threw a look at Molly and kept silent.
The guard said, "Temporarily, you are not allowed to see her. I'm sorry!"
Molly tried to remain graceful and said, "I'm in charge of the Stein family. Are you sure you can afford to offend me?"
"Ms. Stein, our master told us to stop any parent from entering. The chaperons will take good care of all of children."
As Molly wanted to say something, Jessica said with a smile, "Jesus Christ. Even Ms. Stein cannot enter. I'm relieved."
Molly looked at Jessica, "What do you mean?"
"Nothing!"
"Nothing? Then just shut up!"
Jessica also looked at her, "I can say whatever I want to say. I have no need to be allowed by you, do I?"
From Jessica's perspective, Molly was in the same situation as she was. In order to get close to Drake, both of them intended to ingratiate themselves with Bonnie. However, none of them could make it.
"You'd better watch your attitude toward me."
Jessica replied in a scornful tone, "It's none of your business."
"You know what? Your manner is terrible!"
"I don't work for you. I can talk to you in any manner I want!"
"Jessica, you are nothing. You are a mere illegitimate daughter of the Greenspan family. Do you think Drake will fall in love with you?"
"Molly, you were born in a rich family. But Drake also never fell in love with you, did he?"
"You!"
Perhaps, they had got a bit angry due to their unsatisfying conversation with the guard before. And now, they just gave full vent to their rage to each other.
Soon, they began to fight.
The guards quickly walked up to stop them. However, women's battle was fierce. Grabbing hair, scratching on the face, and so on, they just used any way you could in the fight. What a marvellous scene.
As the guards failed to stop the farce, they had to give Drake a phone call and asked him for help.
When Sophia and Drake arrived, Jessica and Molly had stopped, but they still stared at each other with hostility.
Sophia failed to refrain herself from laughing. Molly and Jessica got themselves into this unholy mess. She wondered what they would think of when they saw Drake.
"Enough?"
A familiar voice made Emma and Jessica come to senses. They subconsciously looked at Drake.
"Click-click."
Sophia took a photo of them casually.
Jessica realized it and shouted, "What are you doing?"
She pointed at Sophia, but Drake beat her hand away and said, "Don't talk to my wife in that way!"
Jessica bit her lip hard. As she saw a strange woman from Drake's eyes, she became crazy suddenly.
"Is it me? Is this what I'm looking like now?"
She hurriedly took out her phone, looked in the screen and then screeched out.
Molly laughed, "Why are you screaming? Even though you are beautiful, you're still nothing in Drake's eyes."
As she said so, Jessica didn't get angry but laugh loud, too.
Molly felt strange about Jessica's laughter. Seemingly, a sense of coldness crept up her back.
"What... What are you laughing at?"
"Of course at you! Do you think you look better than me, uh-huh? No way! Ha-ha-ha!"
Then Molly reacted to see herself by the phone.
"No!"
Molly also screeched out.
Sophia waved her phone and said, "Now, your terrible photos are saved in my phone. Please stay away from my husband. Or I will send them away immediately. I think people will like it."
They two glared at Sophia. If Drake was not here, they would definitely skin Sophia alive.
But they knew clearly that Sophia would do what she said.
They had no choice but turned to leave.
Sophia put away her phone and said, feigning anger, "You're quite like Helen of Troy. Look, your wooers are making trouble in front of our house!"
Drake held her in arms and asked, "Jealous?"
"Not at all!"
"Jealous!"
Sophia didn't want to talk to him.
But Drake "threatened" her, "If you insist, I'll kiss you now!"
Sophia lost her words.
The man could really do anything.
As the party finally came to an end, Drake and Sophia turned up together and saw the children out.
After all the children had left, Sophia and Drake walked up to Bonnie and squatted down, asking, "Honey, did you have fun?"
Bonnie nodded, "Yes, I'm so happy that many of them were nice to me. And I made friends with some of them!"
For her friendship, Sophia and Drake had to talk to her.
"Bonnie, that's great. But we have to tell you that it's not easy for people in our circle to have a good friend. You need to learn how to distinguish good friends from bad ones. We do hope you will have a better life."
Bonnie nodded, "Mommy, Papa, I will!"
To some extent, it was not a good choice to be born in such family. They were not sure how many children came here today had an ulterior motive.
However, they had to accept them, no matter who they were or what purpose they had.
In the next morning, Sophia went to the company.
When it was time for Sophia to leave work, Rashad appeared in front of her.
"Hey, Rashad, what's going on?"
Rashad looked at her, smiling, "Do you mean I should not be here?"
In fact, Sophia wanted to say "yes". After all, once he turned up, something bad would happen. She was unwilling to be schemed against every day.
However, she couldn't speak it out.
"Of course not. I'm just a bit surprised that you didn't tell me before you came."
Rashad clearly knew Sophia would not allow him to be here if he told her, would she? Thus, he just deliberately intruded without her knowledge because he knew Sophia would feel ashamed to turn him away.
"Actually, I'm not here to see you this time."
Sophia looked at him with a strange feeling.
"Since I came here, I have never paid Bonnie a visit. I want to see Bonnie with you. Do you mind?"
