Revenge On My First Love novel Chapter 643

Chapter 643 Kneel Down

Of course, Drake knew she could handle it. After all, they did make a great strike back.
But after all, that was her grandma lying in there, he was worried.
Sophia gave her a firm look and grabbed his hand tightly.
Abbott said, "Sophia, I'm going in with you. I don't believe she doesn't want to see her own son."
Bella didn't say anything and let them in.
As soon as they walked in, the old Mrs. Lawson looked at Sophia and said in anger, "Sophia, kneel down! And Abbott, kneel, too! Look at your daughter!"
But none of them knelt.
"Didn't you hear me? Or do you think I'm kidding? You got me into the hospital and you must be disappointed I am at alive!"
Sophia and Abbott didn't say a word.
"Don't you know to keep the family's decency? Now that everyone knows the dirty laundry of our family, you should be happy now."
Abbott couldn't bear it anymore. Sophia had been enduring in her childhood, and now, after the old Mrs. Lawson came back, she kept bullying Sophia. How could he tolerate it?
"Since you knew this would bring shame to the family, why did you do it? It's not us who made every know this, but you!"
"Are you lecturing me? Do you think it's all my fault?"
"Isn't it your fault? You said you wanted to teach Sophia a lesson, but she has done nothing wrong. I know that in your eyes, everything she has ever done is wrong."
The old Mrs. Lawson was pissed. "What are you talking about? She had been mistreating Cathy because I wasn't there. You couldn't teach your daughter well, I came to help!"
"Mistreat? Sophia has never mistreated Cathy! Cathy brought everything upon herself!"
William suddenly felt sadly, "Mom! Stop it! I know Abbott has never valued me because I am worthless, that's why he thinks my daughter is worthless, too. It's all my fault. Mom, your health is the most important. You shouldn't argue with Abbott anymore. It's all my fault."
The old Mrs. Lawson comforted him, "It's not your fault. You're his younger brother and you have never fought with him over anything. However, he..."
"It's all because of your father, he had been doting on Abbott when he was alive. I knew he should've made you heir. If he did, nothing would've happened."
Sophia snorted.
The old Mrs. Lawson looked at her, "What are you dissatisfied about? You think there's problem with what I said? If your grandpa did make your uncle the heir, you wouldn't have anything now."
Sophia couldn't help it anymore and said frankly, "You think everyone is as narrow-minded as you are? Grandpa was a smart person and he knew Uncle would destroy the Lawson family if he made him heir."
"Shut up!" the old Mrs. Lawson pounded the nightstand and said, "Is that how you talk to your elders? Not even your grandpa would have agreed with what you have done! Kneel down and reflect on yourself now!"
Sophia was no longer a pushover. She knew it would only make them treat her worse.
"Grandma, I won't. I won't kneel down even if you hit me! You made me here today! I know that you won't reflect on yourself even after what I said, but I am going to say it anyway. If Cathy does something against morality again, I will fight back like I did!"
"It's your choice!"
Then she walked out of the ward.
The old Mrs. Lawson was still shouting at her, "This is too far! Sophia, stop right there! I will beat you up!"
Abbott looked disappointed at his mother, "Mom, although I had been missing you over the years and I often went to visit you, I don't want you to come back. You have been living a nice life abroad, why did you have to come back and make the whole family a mess?"
"Sophia had endured a lot of grievances for me, and now, I won't let anyone hurt her again."
"Mom, go back abroad. If you're going to keep staying and making troubles, I will have to do something about it."
Then he walked out, too.
Since the old Mrs. Lawson had woken up, there was no need for her to stay anymore. Everyone had left.
Cathy knew it was time for her to win the old Mrs. Lawson's favor. She ran into the ward and cried, "Grandma, you're finally awake! I was so scared. Grandma, you promised me you would be there for me and watch me get married and have kids. You have to stay healthy!"
The old Mrs. Lawson was moved. Cathy reminded her of Sophia. They were both her granddaughters, why were they so different?
She gave Cathy all her love, she smiled and said, "Don't worry, honey. I will be fine. Since I have promised you, I will fulfill my promise."
Cathy nodded her head and got into her arms.
The old Mrs. Lawson was pissed at the thought of Abbott and Sophia. If possible, she wished she had never had Abbott as her son.
When everyone saw Sophia walk out, they all looked worried, "Sophia, I'm afraid this is only a beginning. They won't stop here."
Sophia smiled and looked at them, "Don't worry about me. You know how tough I am. I did this regardless of family ties."
It was not that she didn't appreciate her family but that her grandma and uncle had gone too far. Cathy did what she did because she was confident in having the old Mrs. Lawson's support.
Since they didn't even mind family affection, why should she?
Everyone was relieved to hear this.
Abbott put his hand on her shoulder, "Sophia, do what you want to do. Don't endure it for me."
