Right Person, Wrong Time novel Chapter 650

Chapter 650

The moment Colton went upstairs, Anna and Wendy approached him. Wendy asked with concern, "What happened to your grandpa? Why did he blow his top all of a sudden?"

Colton shook his head. "I haven't found out the reason. Let's talk to him tomorrow when he stops getting angry. He's an obstinate person. If he's not willing to tell us about it, there's no way we can pry it out of his mouth."

Hayden had witnessed the incident earlier. In his eyes, Benedict had always been a benevolent person. However, he suddenly flared up and took a swipe at Nicole on this day.

Hayden had always stayed by Nicole's side since he was born, so he knew that there was no way she would do anything to harm Benedict. Hence, he didn't understand why Benedict became resentful of his mother all of a sudden.

He then asked his father, "Has Mommy done anything wrong? Why was she chased away? Will great-grandpa do the same to me as he's mad?"

He looked up with a pitiful expression and sniffled.

Anna's heart softened when she heard her grandson's soft voice. She quickly consoled him by saying, "He won't. Your great-grandpa is not such a person. Don't worry about it, Hayden. I'll find out the reason behind it."

Hayden then snuggled up in Anna's embrace and clenched her collars.

A heartbroken Anna turned to look at Colton.

"You have to find out who sent that letter and what was inside it."

Colton dipped his head. "Alright, I got it."

Nicole was in a terrible mood as she left Gardner Residence. She still couldn't forget how furious Benedict was earlier.

After closing her eyes, she tried to recall what she had done that caused Benedict to be so displeased.

Then, she thought of the fact that she had saved his life before. He wouldn't have reacted so aggressively if the matter wasn't serious.

Is it because of a patient I didn't manage to save in the past?

She clenched her fists as her mind was a mess.

Just as she was going through what happened earlier, a person came out of nowhere and grasped her arm. She instinctively took the person's hand and pulled it.

The person instantly groaned in pain. "Ouch! It hurts!"

As Nicole examined him, she realized that she didn't know him. She exerted more force with her hands and asked fiercely, "Who are you? What are you trying to do?"

As the person was still constrained by Nicole, he quickly demanded, "L-Let go of me! My arm is going to break!"

Instead of releasing him, Nicole tightened her grip.

"Who on earth are you? If you refuse to tell me, I'll send you to the police station!"

The man snapped with displeasure, "Miss, I was just passing by when I crashed into you. How could you treat me like this? Are you out of your mind?"

It was then Nicole released the man. Although she had become slightly sluggish as she was pondering on an issue just now, she could clearly feel that the man grasped her arm.

Without delving into it, she said, "I'm sorry, then."

After she finished speaking, she left the place.

The man shouted from behind her, "What a rude woman!"

Nicole continued shuffling forward. It wasn't until she got into her car that she searched around her body. As expected, she found a locator around her waist.

As she glanced at the locator, she put on a smile. It seemed that Pierre had run out of patience. He would most likely make a move in the evening.

His way of doing it was despicable. If not for the fact that she was a cautious person, she wouldn't have discovered it.

She then kept the locator inside her pocket. Since Pierre wanted to make a move, she decided to deal with him and settle the issue once and for all.
