Right Person, Wrong Time novel Chapter 651

Chapter 651

Benedict holed up in his room the entire day as he wasn't in the mood to socialize.

As he stared at his wife's photo in the room, he felt a lump in his throat and quietly wiped away his tears. He had already moved on after so many years, but now, such a thing was revealed!

"I'm sorry, my dear. I'm so sorry! I couldn't find anything about your hit-and-run accident, not even a witness, but I made the culprit my daughter! I treated her as my own for so long! I'm such a fool!"

Back then, when he first met Nicole and Madeline in the hospital, he could talk about anything and everything, especially Madeline. At the time, he didn't realize that something was amiss. But after what had happened, he found out that Nicole, the daughter he adored so much back then, caused his wife's death!

He could not forgive her even if she were long dead now!

Benedict's family took turns keeping vigil by the door for fear that he would harm himself.

At night, Nicole didn't go anywhere in particular and remained in the villa. A movie was playing on the TV in the living room as she slumped against the couch and stared dazedly at the TV.

Pierre checked Nicole's location and knew she didn't leave the villa after returning in the afternoon.

When he went to the Kohlbergs' residence earlier, Queenie came to him and wanted to make a deal with him, which intrigued him. After all, she had nothing to gain from him, and he was curious to see what she was up to since she was so eager to gain his attention.

"Miss Anderson, you should know what my current situation is. Just say what you want to say," Pierre said with a smile.

Queenie went straight to the point. "I want Nicole dead, and I think we share the same sentiment. Today, I'll make a scene in the Gardners so that they will kick her out. Then, you'll know what to do."

Pierre curled his lips into a smirk and narrowed his eyes slightly. "Oh?" He was interested in her plan.

He had been observing Nicole for the past few days and knew that she would basically be at the Gardners during the day and return to the villa after dinner. He didn't intend to make a move at first, but from Queenie's words, he felt that this was a golden opportunity.

Queenie explained, "This matter will make the Gardners despise her. If you eliminate her right now, they will not do anything against you. So, now is the best time for us to act."

"That would be the best," Pierre smirked.

Therefore, he decided to move the plan forward. Nonetheless, when he placed the tracker on Nicole, he knew that she was rather adept in martial arts, so he would have to strike somewhere else.

The night was as silent as the grave. It was so quiet that the night sky merged with the shadows.

Pierre entered the villa area with the identity Bryan had created for him. He had kept tabs on Nicole for quite some time. Thus, he knew which villa she lived in.

He didn't do anything sneaky. Instead, he went straight to her door and rang the doorbell.

Nicole was watching a movie in her room when she heard the doorbell. She was a little surprised since she wasn't expecting company. Who will come over at this hour? Is it Colton? Has the misunderstanding in his family been cleared?

She wore her flip-flops and slowly inched toward the door. When she opened it, she saw a man standing at the door with his head lowered.

Pierre!

She frowned and retreated hastily. She never expected that he would appear at her door so brazenly.

He slowly raised his head when he heard the door creaking open. He looked at Nicole with a hazy gaze and said gently, "Miss Anderson, I think we have something to discuss."
