Right Person, Wrong Time novel Chapter 677

Chapter 677

Zachary was desperately trying to reign in his desire. He swallowed, clenched his fists tightly, and a layer of cold sweat ran across his forehead and dripped down his cheeks.

"What should we do now?" He closed his eyes and tried his best to breathe through his predicament.

Nicole glanced at him timidly and asked with concern, "Why don't you take care of it first?"

This was the first time she saw him lose his composure like this.

Zachary knew that he couldn't suppress his desire any longer and should do something about it, but he couldn't do it in front of his beloved. So, he shook his head, lowered his eyes, and muttered, "Don't worry. I'm fine. I'll just endure it."

Although she believed him, she was even more worried about the drug's efficacy. The effect of some drugs was so powerful that no one could squash their urges when they reared their ugly head. "But we can't get out now. The doors and windows are locked and can't be broken down. We can't even open the bathroom door."

At some point, Nicole noticed that there was a fine layer of sweat on the tip of her nose. She wiped the sweat and continued, "I've unplugged the device, but the room is like an airtight chamber, and the smell is still lingering in the air. If we continue to stay here, I'm afraid we will be unable to resist it."

Zachary pursed his lips tightly. Even though he could still manage his urges with his powerful restraint, just like what she said, he didn't know what he would do if they continued to remain trapped.

"I don't know how long I can hold on," he grumbled and panted heavily. Soon, a strong desire gleamed in his eyes.

A selfish thought popped up in his mind. If he took advantage of the drug and slept with Nicole, maybe she wouldn't hate him? There was even a chance that they could be together after this.

Regardless, he quickly dismissed the idea as soon as it popped into his mind.

Nicole was a proud woman. Even if they were drugged and forced to have sex, she might not forgive him easily.

She scanned around the room and couldn't find any means to escape. Unfortunately, she was wearing a dress, so she didn't have her phone with her, nor could she contact anyone. "Do you have your phone with you?"

Zachary touched his pocket and shook his head. "No." He had it with him earlier, but that person definitely took it away after he lost consciousness.

Nicole was beginning to lose faith because she felt as if there was nothing she could do to get out of this situation.

He didn't respond to her, but suddenly, he made a muffled sound.

She quickly turned her head to look over and found that his face was abnormally red, and he was sweating profusely as if drenched in the rain. In addition, his shirt was soaked and semi-transparent due to sweat. To make matters worse, he was hunched over like a prawn as he forced down his desire for her.

He didn't know what kind of drug it was, but the effect was so violent that he almost couldn't take it any longer.

Nicole was anxious as she looked at Zachary, but for her own safety, she didn't go near him. Instead, she stood aside, clenched her teeth, and insisted, "Zach, just masturbate. I bet the drug's effect is overbearing, and holding it back will harm you."

He ground his teeth at her remarks and bit his lower lip so hard that it was close to bleeding. The veins on his forehead were bulging, and he looked like he was on the verge of collapse.

Even Nicole could feel the lust growing within her and the urge to go to him, although she entered the room much later and unplugged the device almost immediately. Therefore, she knew that Zachary was about to reach his limit.

Something would definitely happen if the drug overcame his iron-clad restraint, which would cause him to lose the ability for rational thought.

She flicked away the sweat on her neck and leaned against the white wall. Eventually, she fell into a wave of hopelessness.
