Right Person, Wrong Time novel Chapter 694

Chapter 694

Adam was a little surprised by his insight, as Colton could pinpoint his hidden meaning in a simple and casual sentence.

Crossing his arms, Adam suddenly wasn't opposed to Sasha getting together with Colton. After all, Undercity's business would definitely be inherited by her in the future. If she could control Colton, Undercity and Wolf could join hands, and their combined strength would be unrivaled in the world!

Just as Adam was about to speak, a tall and thin man suddenly broke in. The bodyguards behind him were out of breath. Obviously, they had been in a fight earlier. Seeing how Alvin had knocked open the door, they immediately stood in position and explained with a look of horror on their faces, "S-Sir, we couldn't stop him."

He glanced at Alvin and chuckled. With a wave of the hand, he uttered, "You can leave now. It's understandable that you can't stop him."

Alvin covered his mouth with his hand and coughed dryly. His thin body made him look precarious.

"What? Are you trying to drag that ill body of yours to scare our guest? Can you even afford to offend him?" Adam sounded displeased.

Although Alvin was thin, he had a handsome face. Except for his pale, sunken face, he looked like a kid who had just entered college.

"Sir, I'm sorry to interrupt you, but I need to tell you something." Alvin looked up at Adam and said.

He glanced at Colton out of the corner of his eye. This was the first time he saw Colton in person. He used to watch him in photos or videos on the Internet. The man was wearing a neat black suit, and even as he sat still without doing anything, one could feel the elegance he exuded from within.

Suppressing his tone, Adam presented an expression filled with disdain. "I'm speaking to a guest right now!"

Alvin didn't back down at all. Instead, he pursed his lips and said directly, "I have something important to ask you!"

Looking at the stubborn man in front of him, Adam felt exhausted. Propping his forehead, he didn't utter another word.

However, Colton understood the situation. He then got up and smiled. "Seems like you're busy with other stuff today, Mr. Adam. I'll talk to you next time, then."

Standing up, Colton took a subtle glimpse at Alvin. Though his physique seemed frail, one could tell that he had trained himself physically, judging by the defined muscles on his body. Colton couldn't help wondering how a weak man like him managed to build all the muscles in his body. It was an interesting sight to see.

Just as he was about to leave, Colton suddenly stopped in his tracks. He turned his head to look at the two people in the room and uttered, "You should think about what I said, Mr. Adam."

Adam stood up, still looking wimpy and ill. He nodded and replied, "Of course. I will think about it."

Without another word, Colton left. Once he left, Adam's gaze landed on Alvin again. He withdrew the smile on his face and questioned with a dark expression, "Did she send you here?"

Alvin answered without the intention of hiding. "Yes."

Sarcasm painted across Adam's face as he sneered, "She's such a romantic, just like her mother! She can give up anything just for a man!"

Alvin stood aside, lowered his head, and did not speak.

After glancing at Alvin again, Adam continued, "You know your limits, and you're clear about what you should and shouldn't do, don't you?"

Looking at the person who continued to remain silent, Adam sighed heavily. "How many lives does she have? If this goes on, even nine lives won't be enough for her! I don't care that she wants to pursue Colton, but tell her not to blame me for getting in the way if she does something like this again!"
