Right Person, Wrong Time novel Chapter 755

Chapter 755

Queenie bit her lips, looked at Lydia, and said softly, "Mom, Bryan is just using me to have a child of his own."

Likewise, Lydia didn't have any other alternatives. "Just give him one, Queenie. The Kohlbergs are rich, and Bryan doesn't have any children. If you were to give birth to a child, your child would be the heir of the Kohlberg Family," she said in a low voice.

Queenie was tempted upon listening to her mother's words. Although Bryan wasn't handsome, the Kohlbergs were one of the wealthiest families in the country.

After hesitating for a moment, she gritted her teeth and said, "His wife isn't someone to be easily messed with, though. If I were to bear Bryan's child, she…"

Just as she was still deciding, Lydia grabbed hold of her hands and said solemnly, "Queenie, although that woman is a tough one, she doesn't have any children. Hence, she won't do anything to your child."

"If that's the case, I would be helping them to have a child!" said Queenie as she frowned.

"We don't have any other options left. If you give birth to Bryan's child, he'll come out with one million to help us with our debts," Lydia responded before letting out a sigh.

Hearing her words, Queenie started to waver. After all, she was right. The Anderson Family had nothing left, and they had spent all the money they earned from the Gardners; even Lydia didn't have much money on her.

After thinking for a moment, Queenie suddenly raised her head and looked at Lydia. "What about Dad, Mom?" she asked.

Since William had offended the Gardners, he would be in prison for many years. Although Queenie knew his true form, he was still her father, and she couldn't just leave him alone.

"Ignore him. He dug his grave with this matter, so he can't blame us for this," Lydia answered as she shook her head. How can we take William's matter into our hands when we can't even get ourselves out of this sticky situation? Moreover, with the state of the Anderson Family, it would be stupid to try and go against the Gardners.

"B-But he is my father," Queenie said hesitantly.

Seeing that Queenie couldn't make up her mind, Lydia decided to help her out. Then, she grabbed Queenie's hands and said, "There is something I have been hiding from you, Queenie. Now, I think it's best to tell you about it."

Looking at Lydia's serious expression, Queenie felt her heart thumping wildly as she vaguely felt that Lydia was hiding something from her. At that moment, her lips quivered, and she asked softly, "What are you hiding from me, Mom?"

Lydia looked at her and said seriously, "William isn't your father, Queenie."

At that moment, Queenie was dumbfounded. Never had she ever thought that her biological father wasn't William! After processing Lydia's words, she twitched her lips and looked at Lydia. Then, she grabbed Lydia's wrists harshly and stuttered, "Y-You are lying to me, right, Mom?"

"I don't have to lie to you. Although I was together with William, I didn't bear his child," Lydia shook her head and said straightforwardly.

At this moment, Queenie felt like her world was crashing down on her. She never thought that she was not William's daughter.

"You…" Queenie croaked out. Her throat felt dry, and she didn't know what to say.

Seeing that Queenie was in such a state, Lydia decided to tell her the whole truth. "I did this for your own good, Queenie. Madeline knew about it, and she wanted to tell William. If William found out about this, we would've been kicked out of the Anderson Family, so I had no choice but to spike her medicine."

After hearing the whole story, Queenie gripped her knuckles and said nothing. After a long time, she closed her eyes and said in a hoarse voice, "I'll do it."
