Right Person, Wrong Time novel Chapter 982

Chapter 982 As Gentle as Ever

Nicole's expression was annoyed. This man is becoming more and more shameless with time.

Seeing her annoyed expression, Colton restrained his expression and murmured softly, "Alright, I'll stop annoying you now. Let's go home since you're not feeling well right now."

She didn't say anything and simply nodded in agreement. Then, she left with him.

When they arrived home, Nicole began to feel very sleepy. She was particularly prone to sleepiness due to her current condition. It was just that her stomach was completely empty after throwing up the entire contents of her stomach earlier, which left her unable to fall asleep.

Colton watched her tossing and turning on the bed, then he let out a soft chuckle. Taking advantage of the situation, he sat at the head of the bed and lowered his eyes to look at her. "Would you like something to eat? I'll make it for you."

She was initially going to refuse him, but her stomach was one step faster than her. The loud grumbling of her stomach abruptly filled the quiet atmosphere.

Her face instantly flushed bright red in embarrassment. After pondering for a while, she finally replied to his question. "I want to eat sauerkraut fish and tangy pork ribs."

"Okay. I'll ask somebody to deliver the ingredients, then I'll make those dishes for you." He looked at the adorable woman lying on the bed, feeling as though his heart was about to melt.

She blinked. Although she had eaten many dishes that he made in the past, the dishes she requested today were more complicated than usual. She had never seen him making these dishes before. Does he even know how to make these dishes?

In the end, she decided not to torture her poor stomach and slowly said, "Why don't you just ask for the meal to be delivered?"

He glanced at the shining eyes of the woman lying on the bed, then he recalled the scene he witnessed earlier. How could he not realize what she was secretly thinking? Chuckling softly, he touched the tip of her nose with his slender fingers and teased her with a smile. "What a heartless woman you are. You've eaten so many meals that I've prepared for you. How can you have so little trust in my cooking skills?"

She shrank back slightly as though her inner thoughts had been seen through. At the same time, the tips of her ear instantly reddened in embarrassment. Turning her head to the side, she muttered softly, "That's not it. I just didn't want to make things difficult for you."

Deciding not to reveal her white lie, he stood up and told her, "It's fine. Besides, it's not safe to eat out right now. Who knows what other ingredients they're adding to the food? Don't worry. I lived alone a long time ago, so my cooking skills are pretty good."

She did not say anything else.
