Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2917

“Okay,” Callum replied.

The couple went to the dining area.

After breakfast, the rain had let up considerably. However, the weather had only gotten colder.

Callum was worried about Camryn freezing. He went upstairs to get her a coat and insisted she wear it. Only then did they depart for work.

“Take me to the flower shop, darling. I’ll return home in the afternoon.”

Callum hummed in acknowledgment and said, “It’s cold and raining. There won’t be many customers buying flowers today. Why don’t you rest for the day?”

Camryn usually worked from home if she was not managing the store.

She would only leave Wiltspoon and go to the office if there were important meetings or business negotiations that required her presence.

She did not have to do so most of the time. With Dalton managing the company, everything was going well.

Camryn trusted Dalton.

He was also loyal to her and never thought of betraying her.

Callum was not worried about Dalton’s loyalty. If he dared betray Camryn, Callum would ruin his reputation in the industry and make things difficult for him.

“Contrary to what you think, the rain improves our business. Everyone will call in to order flower deliveries because they don’t want to head out themselves. I have to be in the store while my employees deliver the flowers.”

Callum smiled. “Okay. I admit that I don’t know your business well.”

He thought the flower shop’s business would decline during rainy or cold days.

Since Camryn wanted to go to the store, Callum drove her to Spring Blossoms.

She immediately got to work, wrapping a few roses and some baby breath into a bouquet.

Callum watched her as she worked.

When Camryn turned to him after she finished the bouquet, he smiled and took the flowers. “This must be for me. Right, honey?”

“That’s right.”

Camryn said softly, “Receiving flowers in the morning improves your mood. This way, you’ll feel great throughout the day and even perform more efficiently at work.”

Callum grinned. “Of course. Thank you, honey.”

“Go to work. You’re already late.”

Heavens knew how long he would stay if she did not coax him.
