"I thought, we would just go out to dinner and maybe go for a walk afterward?" He finally spoke as we pulled up to a nice looking restaurant.
"Sounds good." I got out of the car and fixed my dress. Zane walked around to my side and watched me with a smirk planted on his lips.
"You really do look beautiful." He commented making me blush. Does he say that to "A" too? "Shall we?" Somehow I managed to laugh and followed him inside.
The food was nice, and the small talk was mediocre. Everything was awkward and tense between us.
"Devina when you saw that picture what did you really think? Are you jealous?" Zane finally broke the silence as we walked through there woods behind the restaurant. I scoffed and looked away.
"What? Why are we still talking about this?" Zane stopped walking and forced me to a stop also.
"Just-" He closed his eyes and opened them again, they held so much emotion and frustration. "You acted like you didn't care!" I snapped my eyes back towards Zane.
"We never said we were exclusive Zane." I retorted and Zane's eyes turned black.
"We're not exclusive? What the hell does that mean!?" He yelled.
"It means that I'm not yours and you aren't mine!" I matched his tone.
"You are mine, Devina! You are mine and only mine." He went to grab my hand but I pulled it back. "We are exclusive. You can't see other guys. And no more "rides" with Ashton." He used his fingers to quote rides which made me bubble over with rage.
"I'm not like her." I almost whispered. "I'm not going to send you pictures like that or do those kinds of things." His eyes turned back to their normal shade.
