Chapter 962
Larissa was thinking about going home to work so she did not dare stay o
outside for lan larg.
She was not busy as she was only doing promotions and customer service for the time being.
She was in charge of communicating contract details with the other party’s representative as well as accepting their inquiries.
Wendy came over with a bowl of chicken noodle soup, and she slurped it up next to Larissa “I suddenly remembered something.” Her lace was dark and her eyes screamed danger.
Lanssa stopped tyning on her laptop for a couple of seconds as she looked up in confusier and asked, “What?”
“Didn’t you tell me that you lost the power struggle with your cousin and got kicked out of the company by him?” Wendy put down her bowl and narrowed her eyes.
Larissa forced herself to be calm, “Yeah, why?”
“Then why did he come over last night? Wendy leaned over slowly. “How can it be possible that you two are still friendly with each other even if you’re fight na?
“Uh —” This question was hard to answer, Larissa could not be any longer. “Actually I didn’t fight with my cousin. I wasn’l kicked out by
him either.”
Wendy sneered coldly as she reached out to squish Larissa’s face. “Larissa Seymour, you absolute piece of shit!” she snapped angrily.
She was so loud that Larissa’s ears nearly went deal. “Do you know how badly you’ve lucked me up?”
Wendy
squished harder so that Larissa’s face was completely squashed.
“Last night, I thought your cousin came here looking for trouble! I shouted at him and even hit him! Ahhhhhhh! Do you know how embarrassing it was for me when your cousin finally cleared things up with me? Fuck you all the damned way to hell!”
Although her lace hurt so much, Larissa could not help but laugh hard,
“How dare you laugh? Wendy’s face was so red. The moment she thought of the things she did last night, she was so embarrassed that she wanted to stick her head into the ground.
“Sorry!” Larissa used her fingertips to wipe away her tears as she apologized sincerely. “I didn’t think that you’d stand up for me to my cousin” If she knew–she would definitely have spun a crazier lie..
Wendy angrily let go of Larissa’s face as she glared at her. “You will help me explain to your cousin property! Tell him that I’m not a harpy
who randomly beats people up!”
“Okay.” Larissa nodded sincerely. “I’ll call him now.” As she spoke, she picked up the phone she had left on the table.
“Hang on-” Wendy stopped her quickly. “I go out first!”
To listen to Larissa and Lewis talk about this was like experiencing being publicly executed.
