In the letter, it was mentioned about the annulment of Abby as the Serafim and for Iris to claim the position. It also mentioned about another thing, such a plan that they had, but there was no detail about it in this letter. freēwēbnovel.com
Abby had asked the same thing to Iris, for her to claim the position as the Serafim, but with this letter and they figured out that was the same plan that Rei had for Iris, there was no way it would be a good thing for her to go through with it.
In the letter, it also mentioned about whether or not Elder Dandolf had everything prepared.
"What do you think he is going to do?" Iris furrowed her brows, her blue eyes sharper, as she touched her belly. She remembered what Abby said earlier about what Rei would do to every Serafim’s daughter.
If she became a Serafim, Rei would definitely dig his claw on Iris and force the Holy Kingdom’s rule on her.
Once you finished reading this letter and heard what Abby said about Rei, you would be able to see this plan as clear as day.
"He will not be able to do anything to you," Lou said. "You have the whole southern pack in your mate’s disposal." Lou looked at Cane. "And I am sure he will not stop there. I am very certain that his aim is the throne." The merchant talked to Iris as if Cane was not there. "There is nothing to be worried about."
Iris didn’t say anything, she was very quiet. When it came to that, she was sure it would be another problem that waited for them after they were done with Decratic. Even if they won this war, there would be a threat of another war that hang above their head with the appearance of Rei.
If Decratic was pure evil, then Rei was filled with a lot of manipulation. He had lived for over than five centuries and he was the one, who literally had built the Holy Kingdom and controlled everything from the shadow.
It would be a tricky situation with a lot of schemes laid before them.
And that would be their future if they had to face Rei.
Later that night when they laid down side by side on the bed and the sky had turned so dark, Iris stared at Cane’s sleeping face. He looked very tired, because there were a lot of things he had to do.
Cane also had not yet told them about his plan with the protection shield, he only told her and Lou to wait for two days.
"This must be a lot for you," Iris whispered. She hoped, she could be smarter and was able to help Cane to think of a solution, or at least, came up with a brilliant idea to save the situation.
From the corner of her eyes, she saw her two little lights. While the other floated around energetically, the other rested on Cane’s shoulder and this brought smile to Iris’s lips. She promised to do everything she could to protect them and stood by Cane’s side throughout everything life threw at them.
"Is there something you want to eat?" Cane suddenly asked, he opened his eyes, still looked sleepy, but he must have sensed that iris had not yet slept.
Iris smiled beautifully. She liked this look on him when he was being sleepy and less intimidating. "No. I don’t want anything, I only want you." She pulled her up to kiss his lips and Cane put his hand behind her head to deepen their kiss.
Two days later, everyone gathered around the protection shield, all the warriors and knights also the magic users were ready to charge forward once the protection was broken.
