Chapter 150
Marie reached out to grab it, blushing as she exclaimed, “Nonsense! It’s not
realistic at all!”
Dennis held up the painting and ran forward with his suit, while Marie chased
after him. However, due to Dennis’ height and long legs, Marie couldn’t catch
up and was left panting and exhausted without retrieving the painting.
In the end, Dennis gave in and handed the painting to Marie. Marie was already exhausted from running, so Dennis scooped her up in his arms and carried her to the parking lot.
Marie kicked her legs and said, “Put me down.”
Dennis tightened his arm and said, “Stop messing around, we’ll be there
soon.”
Marie’s face turned red and she said, “Everyone is looking at us, put me
down!”
Dennis had a look of righteousness on his face. “Let them look, what’s wrong with me holding my own woman?”
Marie was rendered speechless.
She blushed and hid in Dennis’ arms, letting him hold her as they walked to the parking lot. They got in the car, and Dennis drove her back to the hotel.
After washing up, Marie nestled in her room, admiring the painting. It was so beautiful, she thought about having it framed and hung at Glorious Estate, in
Dennis’s small study, where it would definitely look even better.
When Dennis pushed the door open, he saw Marie looking at the sketch on the bed with a delighted expression, her smile sweet and adorable.
Actually, the painting wasn’t very good, just the level of a street artist, but Dennis bought it because it depicted him and Marie.
At that perfect moment when he caught her, the girl’s eyes were filled with dependence and tender affection as she looked at him.
Just for this reason alone, it was worth it for Dennis to buy it.
Now, Marie was sitting on the bed looking at the painting, which made him. unable to help but think of Marie walking beside him during the day, with that well-behaved and adorable appearance.
Without a second thought, Dennis walked over, tackled Marie, and kissed her
lips.
Marie was taken aback. What was wrong with this man, constantly trying to
kiss her out of the blue?
She struggled twice, pounding on Dennis’s shoulder, but Dennis grabbed her
wrist and raised it above her head.
Dennis entwined with her breath, his large hand caressing her waist, the refreshing scent after a bath enveloping them, every single cell clamoring for
more.
However, Dennis couldn’t. Marie was both his poison and his treasure. He carefully protected her, fearing that she would get hurt, sad, or even scared.
He felt frustrated and turned to bite her earlobe. Marie was very sensitive. there and couldn’t help but let out a soft moan. Dennis tensed up and buried his head in her neck, his voice hoarse, “Marie.”
“Mmm…” Marie shrank into his arms, not daring to move.
“Marie,” Dennis’s voice was deep and magnetic, and when he called her name,
it sounded incredibly pleasant.
“Mmm,” Marie’s voice was as faint as a mosquito’s.
“My self-control is really very limited,” Dennis said.
Get Bors
Marie was at a loss.
What was she supposed to do? She was innocent too!
“So…” Dennis said, “Finish those things quickly, don’t make me wait too
long.”
Marie let out an “oh” sound, shrank back, and didn’t dare to move or speak.
Dennis pinched her waist, got up and went to the bathroom, took a cold shower, and came out with a quilt to sleep outside.
Once again, he held this annoying little girl in his arms, not knowing when he would lose control and devour her completely.
Marie heartlessly occupied the entire bed by herself, sleeping soundly without
any guilt.
The next day, Marie woke up groggily, turned over, and her hand touched a
hard wall. She leaned forward, and a familiar scent entered her nostrils. Marie opened her eyes and saw Dennis’s handsome face enlarged.
Lying on Dennis’s arm, with one of his hands resting on her waist, Marie felt stiff. Dennis opened his eyes and asked in a hoarse voice, “Awake?”
Marie was dumbfounded. What was going on with this righteous tone?
Could it be that seeing Dennis go out to sleep last night was just a dream? When did this guy climb into his own bed?
“D-Dennis?” Marie poked Dennis and asked, “What are you doing here?”
“Missed you, couldn’t sleep,” Dennis said as he turned over and propped himself above Marie. The girl had just woken up, her eyes dazed and looking like a little kitten, adorable and charming.
He leaned down, kissing her lips, and Marie pushed him away, grumbling, “I…
I didn’t brush my teeth.”
Dennis chuckled softly, “It’s fine, I don’t mind.”
After a long and passionate kiss, Dennis’s kissing skills were more than just a little impressive. Coupled with his wandering hands, Marie found herself breathing heavily.
When Dennis let her go, Marie’s eyes were moist and filled with a hint of resentment. Dennis turned around, held her in his arms, kissed her forehead,
and asked, “Marie, when will this end?”
“I don’t know…” Marie gripped Dennis’s collar, steadying her breath.
She didn’t know when the war with Wren would end, nor when she could
finally take her revenge and then live peacefully as Marie.
This war seemed too long, and she couldn’t even touch the hem of Wren’s clothes now, with no chance of winning at all.
Dennis lowered his head and gently kissed the corner of her mouth, saying, “Marie, tell me, I’ll help you.”
Marie looked up and met Dennis’s gaze, which was very focused and serious.
Marie knew that Dennis really wanted to help her, but she didn’t want his
help, didn’t want to involve him in these matters, and didn’t want him to take
a bullet for her one day when Seth sent someone to deal with her.
Marie turned around, facing away from Dennis, and shook her head, “No need,
