Marie stayed in the hospital for three days and couldn’t stand it anymore. In her previous life, she had never been hospitalized; she would always go home to treat her injuries and continue her training. It was only in this life that she realized how boring a hospital could be. 

Dennis couldn’t persuade her otherwise, so he helped her with the discharge procedures and took her back to the hotel. 

Because of a shoulder injury, Dennis had been personally feeding them for the past few days. If it weren’t for Marie’s firm protest, Dennis might have even helped them bathe..

“Did you come here early in the morning just to have coffee with me?” Aubree asked. 

Marie laughed and said, “I’d like to invite you to be the screenwriter for the movie Double Sided and participate in the adaptation process together.” 

Aubree put down her coffee mug, waved her hand, and said, “That won’t do, I’ve never changed anything of my father’s.” 

Marie persuaded, “Give it a try, no one knows your father better than Mdm. Berry, she can definitely make it better.” 

Aubree still declined, with a hint of a young little girl playing cute, “I don’t want to, I haven’t been to New York in decades.” 

Marie laughed and said, “Come on, I’ll be your tour guide!” 

Dennis chuckled softly and asked, “Are you a tour guide? Do you know the way?” 

Marie glanced at him and said, “Well, then you be the tour guide!”

Marie was so happy that she could almost jump for joy.
