The Biker’s Mafia Princess (Angel and Savage) novel Chapter 175

Wild Child POV.

I get back to the hospital and park the cage in the underground parking. I grab my duffle bag and exit the cage. Locking it before I walk to the elevator. My mind is a whirlwind of thoughts. All about my girl, I’m itching to find who did this to her and make them hurt more than Sophie is.

The elevator pings and I exit it as I walk towards the assessment ward. As I approach, I see Sophie being wheeled out on the bed. My eyes widen and I run towards where she is being taken.

“Where are you taking her?” I demand and doc looks at me and rolls his eyes.

“To the private ward. She is fine, Harry, she is still asleep.” Doc tells me, and I breathe a sigh of relief. I nod my head and follow behind him towards the private ward of the hospital.

I wait until the bed has been secured and all her drips have been positioned at the side of the bed.

“She won’t wake up yet. She is exhausted. Try to rest Harry. There is a coffee machine in the kitchen, over there. The sofa pulls out into a bed. I will have the nurses bring you pillows and a blanket. She will be ok, the wounds will heal. This may be a shock to her, to have someone watch over her.” He says, and my heart cracks open. The thing is, I can tell she has had to do this on her own for a long time. Could this be the reason why she came here?

“Thanks doc, I will watch over her.” I tell him and he nods his head before he leaves the room. I walk towards her sleeping form.

I run my fingers gently through her long black hair and kiss her forehead.

“You’re not alone now Soph. I won’t let anyone hurt you again.” I say to her even though she is out cold. Her breathing is even, and she looks peaceful.

I watch her for a while when my phone pings. I sigh and take my phone out of my cut and see it’s an email from Tank.

Tank: The information you requested. Be warned though, brother. It’s not pretty.

I take a shuddering breath in and move to sit on the sofa and open the P*F. I read the information in front of me. Each thing I read so far is normal.

Sophie Corrine Johnson, daughter of Anna Marie Johnson, formerly Fisher, married to Benjiman Johnson. Older brother Jared Mark Johnson.

So far, nothing is screaming anything out of the ordinary. Perfect family life and upbringing. Sophie attended school every day. Sophie was a dancer and took part regularly in competitions all over the country. The family wasn’t even in debt. Her dad owned his own business. Her mom was a teacher and worked at the same school her kids attended.

Previous address, now that is interesting. Sophie used to live on the other side of the country. I read through the file when I turn the page and my heart drops.

Anna Marie died in a car crash eighteen years ago. Sophie was the only survivor at the age of five years old. I look at Sophie and I can only imagine what it must have been like to see that and to lose the woman who gave you life. I would lose my mind if anything happened to my momma.

Sophie aged seven broken left tibia and right radius. Bruising to the ribs and face. My eyes widen at that.

Police and social services called. Mr Johnson and Sophie confirm she tripped and fell down the stairs. Risk assessment was done and completed. No issues.

Then more and more reports of bruises and abuse throughout the years, then nothing from when she was fifteen. Still, nothing was done. They took the word of a child and her explanation of what happened.

Walked into the wall, fell over, fell in the park, fell from a tree. Shit like that. Even I can see it was not accidental.
