Waiting until her footsteps faded away, Miles began to undress.

It was already starting to get light outside, and being someone who usually kept a regular sleeping schedule, he should have been feeling tired.

But now, taking a hot shower and using Felicity’s shampoo and body wash felt like being enveloped in her scent, making him even sleepier.

He found himself wishing that by the time he stepped out, she would have already fallen asleep.

That way, he wouldn’t have to come up with another lame excuse to avoid being kicked out.

But wishes aside, when Miles emerged in the bathrobe, he found Felicity ready with a first aid kit, waiting for him.

“Let’s get you bandaged up before you dry your shirt.”

The first aid kit only had iodine, so Felicity did what she could to disinfect the wound before applying a new bandage.

“Once it’s light out, and your shirt is dry, you should go.”

She bent down to pack up the first aid kit.
