The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1567

Christopher grimaced, his cheeks burning with shame.

Arnold gave him quite the tongue-lashing.

In the end, Christopher left the medicine behind and took off with his secretary.

“Why did you take the medicine from Christopher, Arnold? We don’t need it!”

Bella felt anxious and utterly bewildered by Arnold. “Besides, no one can guarantee that Christopher’s medicine isn’t poison.”

“I can.” Arnold turned solemn.

Not one to take things seriously, Arnold rarely showed his stern side. Hence, Bella and Justin were taken aback.

“I can run laboratory tests on the drug. Christopher isn’t an idiot. He wouldn’t bring poison to visit his soulmate’s father unless he lost it.” Arnold folded his arms and shook his head, clicking his tongue.

Asher looked at Arnold, then lowered his gaze and cleared his throat.

He realized that Arnold had turned to the dark side.

When Arnold first returned to the country, the worst thing he could do was swear. Now, he was a smooth operator.

Though she had tears in her eyes, Bella remained stubborn. “Even if the medicine can help, I don’t want anything from Christopher!”

Panicking, Arnold blurted, “We should at least try. What if the medicine works?”

Mila tried everything but was met with little success. She hoped that she could take the pain for him.

“Besides, Chairman Thompson has been in a coma for three days since the operation. This is the longest time he’s been unconscious. If he doesn’t wake up in the next two days, we might be looking at a bigger problem.”

Arnold dropped quite a bombshell.

Asher, the oldest and most level-headed, lost color in his face while Axel slumped against the wall in shock.

Despite not seeing home as home or Wyatt as his father, Drew found himself drawn to a dark corner, where he wiped away his tears with his back to everyone.

“How did this happen? I thought he was fine… What changed?” Bella’s eyes widened hysterically.
