The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1680

Drew curled his lips and smirked. “I only mentioned James once, yet you immediately knew I came for revenge. Not only that, you knew it was for my brother.”

Yvonne’s face burned. No matter how cunning and clever she was, her brain would not work in front of this man. She fell right into his trap.

“I work beside Mr. Christopher. I know about things happening in the Iverson Group…”

Suddenly, Yvonne’s breath hitched. This time, it was Drew who covered her mouth.

At the same time, the footsteps of two bodyguards gradually became closer.

“Hmm? Why did I hear someone talking?”

Their footsteps stopped beside the storage rack.

Yvonne’s forehead was covered in a layer of sweat as her heart raced.

However, Drew’s gaze was calm as he cupped the back of her head, his fingers threading through her hair. He slowly pressed her head against his chest.

Instantly, Yvonne relaxed completely, closing her eyes.

“Was there any sound? You must’ve misheard.”

“Hmm… Maybe I’m hearing things. I’ve been exhausted lately. Let’s hurry to the lobby. Mr. Christopher is returning soon!”

The footsteps left hurriedly.

However, Drew was still hugging Yvonne in the same position. Their breaths intertwined, and neither of them moved.

“James brought quite a crowd today. With the security at Pivotage, you’ll suffer quite a loss, even if you are exceptionally skilled.”

Yvonne inhaled the sharp scent of tobacco from his black shirt, her ears turning red. “If your purpose is to take revenge on James, I have a safer way.”

Drew looked down at her. “What?”
