The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1890

“It’s you?!” Ralph and Yasmin exclaimed in shock.

The man before them was the same assassin who had severely injured Yasmin and kidnapped Carrie last time.

Despite him standing motionless, his reappearance now sent a shiver down Yasmin’s spine.

At this moment, Ralph was even more incredulous. His eyes were wide open, staring intently at Jace’s familiar face that resembled that of his fifth brother.

“Just now, if you had shot and killed either of them, you might have had a chance to catch up. But unfortunately, you didn’t.”

Jace’s cold eyes and mocking tone conveyed his disdain for Ralph. “That’s why I despise you police officers. Even when given the power to punish evil, you waver. You think only about protecting yourself, hesitating, and looking back. Now, it’s too late to catch up!”

“Who the hell are you?!” Sweat covered Ralph’s forehead, and his voice brimmed with anger and urgency.

“For those who are doomed, gaining more insights is pointless.”

As Jace was speaking, a cold gleam flashed in his eyes. He moved like a shadow, launching himself at Ralph with lethal intent.

“Yasmin! Go after them and inform my sister and Justin that Carrie is in danger!”

Ralph shouted, narrowly dodging a powerful punch from Jace.

Yasmin nodded frantically. Although she was concerned for Ralph’s safety, she knew staying to fight would only slow them down. Besides, she knew she was not a match for Jace.

They had no choice but to split up to increase their chances of success in saving Carrie.

However, just as Yasmin took a few steps, another figure in black, wearing a mask, blocked her path.

Judging by the build, it was likely a woman.

“You must have a death wish!” Desperate to save Carrie, rage consumed Yasmin completely.

While Ralph and Jace battled fiercely, exchanging punches and kicks, Yasmin engaged with the female assassin.

Despite her old injuries, Yasmin fought with all her strength, her blows swift and fierce, whistling through the air.

But the woman was cunning. She dodged Yasmin’s attack skillfully and used soft techniques to counter Yasmin’s aggressive attacks.

Yasmin’s eyes blazed with a bloodthirsty red, her killing intent palpable. She drew a folding knife from her waist. Without hesitation, she stabbed the woman.

To her utter shock, the woman did not dodge but took the blade head-on.

“Ugh–!” The woman let out a pained groan.
