Justin raised his hand and held Bella’s fair neck, gently massaging it while nodding in agreement.

“Ralph, we want to go investigate the crime scene. There might be clues that could save Mr. Storm from this predicament!”

Bella’s phone vibrated. It was a call from Sasha.

“Aunt Sasha.”

“Bella, Elias would never kill anyone! Someone must be framing him!” Sasha’s trembling voice sounded urgent.

“Aunt Sasha, don’t panic. We’ll definitely continue investigating this.” Bella’s heart tightened, but she still gently comforted her.

Sasha took a deep breath, perhaps overwhelmed by the anxiety, her usual crisp voice turning hoarse. “Elias can’t have anything happening to him. Otherwise, if those rebels he’s been suppressing take the opportunity to wreak havoc, Southern Star will fall!”
