Steven blushed and smiled awkwardly. Despite his embarrassment, his heart ached with love for his wife and said, “She’s about to give birth soon. She should be resting and taking care of herself. Why is she worrying about me instead?”

With her cheeks puffed out, she mumbled, “Hmph! It’s because my sister loves you deeply. Just drink the soup and stop overthinking it.”

Steven’s face lit up with a contented smile as he finished the entire bowl of soup.

Although Bella did not have much of an appetite, she forced herself to eat. After all, food was fuel, and she needed strength to keep fighting.
