Justin’s gaze followed the path of Grant’s fingers as they came to rest on the desk.
The plaque that once bore Justin’s name now displayed a new name. [President Grant Salvador]
How impatient of them. They could not even hold off for a single night before erasing all traces of his time at Salvador Corporation.
“The board of directors elected me as the new president yesterday. I won by a huge majority vote,” Grant said, his tone calm yet edged with triumph.
He rested his hands on the desk, his long, slender fingers interlacing into a steeple beneath his chin. “Ian can coordinate with my secretary to finalize the handover. I’ve already arranged for someone to pack your personal belongings and send them to Tideview Manor. Justin, you’ve worked hard these past few years. From now on, leave the future of Salvador Corporation to me.”
The room fell deathly silent.
Justin’s long lashes trembled faintly before the corners of his lips curled into a subtle smile. With one hand tucked casually into his pocket, he moved calmly and sank into the sofa with deliberate ease.
His long legs stretched out lazily, exuding an air of nonchalance.
It was as if stepping down from the president’s position wasn’t a loss but a liberation—a release that freed him completely.
Grant’s eyes narrowed as he observed Justin intently.
“Grant,” Justin said, his voice steady and composed, “you didn’t need to go through all this trouble. If you’d simply told me from the start that you wanted this position back, I would’ve stepped aside without hesitation.”
He continued, “After all, if it hadn’t been for the kidnapping years ago and your subsequent health issues, you, as the eldest son, were always the rightful heir to Salvador Corporation. Isn’t that so?”
Justin was known for his military background and reputation for integrity. But now he exuded something entirely different.
At that moment, Grant felt like there was a raw, untamed defiance in Justin—unapologetic and unrestrained. It was as if this confrontation had forced another side of him to surface.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson)
I am reading this book from last year. Its very long story but at start i find enjoyable.Still there is no closure , dragging the story and the writer is running out of ideas. Its frustrating that they don't upload chapters regularly....
If you are about to start reading this “ongoing” book….don’t. It’s a great read but mo regular updates and leaves you hanging. Took me months to get to chapter 2370 (this app only has it to chapter 2368….learned to search different links to read ahead a bit). These ongoing books are just not worth the time since their author (s) take days/weeks to upload new chapters. Again great sultry, long drawn out at times, but not worth the frustration of no new updates....
No update in 6 days!!! Really??? I’m about over this story and ready to move on, the wait is to long....
Pls update regularly or least let us know why it's taking so long...
Ok I was thinking last night. I really hope the author hasn’t been affected by hurricane Helene. Not sure where they are located but I hope everyone is safe...
It’s been 87 years since the update with only 2 chapters. 🙄...
Why is it taking so long to update chapters....
Do u have plans to update more chapters or the story just end on Chapter 2270? It's been a while that no more chapter has been loaded yet. ty...
Pls update...
Please update. Thanks and more power!...
