Justin sat upright, his demeanor calm and composed. He did not attempt to persuade Clarence further. “Very well, suit yourself.”
Ian noticed the exhaustion etched on Justin’s face and thoughtfully suggested, “Mr. Salvador, let me take you back to Tideview Manor to rest.”
“No, take me to the Salvador Corporation.” Justin lowered his gaze, his tone subdued. “There is one hour left before the high-level meeting begins. Notify all department directors to be in the conference room on time.”

An hour later, Justin arrived at the group’s headquarters.
Throughout the journey, he ignored the strange looks from others.
With Ian following closely behind, Justin stepped into his private elevator and headed straight for the conference room.
Yet, the moment the doors opened, Justin’s expression darkened.
Ian exclaimed in shock. “What’s going on? Why is there no one here? I clearly sent out the meeting notice!”
Justin stood silently, his chest churning with suppressed anger as he stared at the empty conference room. Without hesitation, he turned and strode purposefully toward the President’s Office.
Outside the office, the administrative secretary was still present.
“M-Mr. Salvador!” The secretary hurriedly stood, her face pale with panic.
Justin’s face remained impassive. Just as he was about to push the door open, the secretary frantically called out, “Mr. Salvador, please stop! You can’t go in!”

I am reading this book from last year. Its very long story but at start i find enjoyable.Still there is no closure , dragging the story and the writer is running out of ideas. Its frustrating that they don't upload chapters regularly....
If you are about to start reading this “ongoing” book….don’t. It’s a great read but mo regular updates and leaves you hanging. Took me months to get to chapter 2370 (this app only has it to chapter 2368….learned to search different links to read ahead a bit). These ongoing books are just not worth the time since their author (s) take days/weeks to upload new chapters. Again great sultry, long drawn out at times, but not worth the frustration of no new updates....
No update in 6 days!!! Really??? I’m about over this story and ready to move on, the wait is to long....
Pls update regularly or least let us know why it's taking so long...
Ok I was thinking last night. I really hope the author hasn’t been affected by hurricane Helene. Not sure where they are located but I hope everyone is safe...
