“No.” Justin’s response was resolute.
“Given Grant’s methods, he won’t harm Yvonne for now because she’s still useful to him. He’ll exploit her to the fullest, using her to manipulate you, restrain Bella, and force my hand.”
“Justin, I need to save my wife. Tell me—what should I do?!” Drew grabbed Justin’s arm, his bloodshot eyes were brimming with desperation.
Justin’s breath grew heavy. “Even if we kill Grant, it cannot be by your hand. I’ll do it.”
“Are you kidding me? If we’re taking that bastard down, we’re doing it together!” Drew’s striking features were fearless, his voice filled with unyielding determination. “Once a classmate, always a comrade. We fight side by side!”
“Grant is my brother. The affairs of the Salvador family should end with me. Besides, I’m not just doing this for you—I have my own reasons.” Justin fell silent for a moment before speaking again, his voice calm.
“I also came tonight for another reason. I hope you won’t blame your sister. She’s been consumed by guilt these past two days, unable to forgive herself. She cared deeply for Yvonne.”
“Ha... What do you take me for?” Drew let out a sharp exhale, his voice tinged with pain. “That’s Bella—my sister, the one I’ve protected with my life. How could I ever blame her?”
The thought of Bella’s sobbing voice made his throat tighten. Drew swallowed hard to keep the tears at bay. “You talk about me—but what about you? If you have blood on your hands, what happens to my sister? I can’t do it, and neither can you!”
Justin cast him a faint glance. “What does it matter?”
“Damn it, are you really that clueless, or are you just pretending? Bella is still hopelessly in love with you! Even if you lose your mind, become paralyzed, or can’t even get it up, she deserves an answer from you!”
“Your sister is an exceptional woman.” Justin’s deep, starlit eyes held a trace of suppressed emotion as he gazed at the desolate night beyond the window. “In every way, she deserves someone better than me.”

It was dark, damp, suffocating, and filthy.
In her unconscious state, Yvonne was trapped in a relentless nightmare, reliving the agonizing tortures that Christopher inflicted on her.
In her dreams, she was back in Pivotage’s filthy, depraved underground chamber, curled up in a corner, her body battered and exposed.
The door opened, and she saw Drew’s resolute figure stepping toward her.
“Drew...” Yvonne lifted her tear-streaked face to him.

Please upload Chapter 2468 and other remaining chapter .....
Please update regularly...
Thanks for bringing Ryan back. Totally missed him...
I am reading this book from last year. Its very long story but at start i find enjoyable.Still there is no closure , dragging the story and the writer is running out of ideas. Its frustrating that they don't upload chapters regularly....
If you are about to start reading this “ongoing” book….don’t. It’s a great read but mo regular updates and leaves you hanging. Took me months to get to chapter 2370 (this app only has it to chapter 2368….learned to search different links to read ahead a bit). These ongoing books are just not worth the time since their author (s) take days/weeks to upload new chapters. Again great sultry, long drawn out at times, but not worth the frustration of no new updates....
No update in 6 days!!! Really??? I’m about over this story and ready to move on, the wait is to long....
Pls update regularly or least let us know why it's taking so long...
