Silence spread throughout the atmosphere.
A dull pain emanated from Ranita's chest area.
"Ranita... don't be angry with Brendon because of me..." Shannon said weakly.
Ranita interrupted her coldly, "Shannon, I'm talking to Brendon right now. Please don't interrupt."
Being looked at like this by Ranita made Shannon feel even more wronged.
Her eyes turned red while biting her lip as she looked at Brendon accusingly without saying a word about being bullied by Ranita silently through tears in her eyes.
This kind of advanced coquetry was what men can't resist most.
Brendon hurriedly comforted her, "Shannon, she didn't mean any harm. Don't be upset." After pausing for a moment he reached out his hand and grabbed onto Ranitas' hand, "Let's go somewhere quiet where we can talk alone."
An empty corner.
There was only one dim light nearby; Brendon towered over her with his gaze icy-cold.
"Brendon! I didn't do anything that hurt Shannon! You don't have to look at me like that!" The pain in Rantia's heart had already become unbearable.
She couldn't help but lose control of herself.
"I never said it was your fault; don't get so worked up," he replied calmly.
Could she not get worked up?
If she had really hurt Shannon then maybe she would feel better now instead of just taking all the blame!
Who wouldn't be angry?
Brendon pursed his lips before finally speaking after some time passed, "We haven't investigated this matter thoroughly yet! Whatever comes into Shannon's mind will come out from Shannon's mouth since she's innocent."
Innocent? That was hilarious!
