The Divorcee Who Shines novel Chapter 212

Chapter 212 Weakness

Julia's words were a bit ambiguous, but Ranita didn't suspect much. Over the years, she had become quite easygoing and her heart was not bad.

"Yeah!" Ranita nodded lightly. "Julia, go do your thing!"

The takeout was considerate - it was a light lotus root and lean meat porridge, along with a carefully prepared stew.

"I had Julia bring you some food. Did you receive it?" Brendon's message came at just the right time.

Ranita took a bite and then another one. The porridge tasted good, but unfortunately she couldn't taste anything besides bitterness.

Brendon probably only felt obligated to fulfill his last duty as her husband now.

Only she always held onto unrealistic fantasies.

"I received it. Thank you." Ranita replied to Brendon, tears rolling down her face when she lowered her eyes silently revealing the heart-wrenching pain within her soul.

Ranita didn't like crying.

In her life motto crying never solved any problems! She built a dam in her mind using strength as an outer wall to hide all of the weakness and helplessness away.

But now there was a hole in that dam.

She cried like someone who has lost everything they ever loved before.

Ranita found out about Shannon's news and Eve's cursing on the following day.

"Your husband is so outrageous! You're not even completely divorced yet he can't wait? Didn't he just come back from Qaesburg? And already made plans with her?"

"I really want to expose what happened between them online!"

...

There were several messages retracted below this one; those above probably weren't able to be taken back in time.

Shannon was known as the nation's sweetheart with high popularity online.
