The Enchanting Doctor With a Bite novel Chapter 35

"The tea is ready. You should drink it while it's warm." With that, Kylie placed the cup in the corner of his desk.

Samuel sat at his desk, his dark eyes shadowed with exhaustion. He hadn't slept properly since yesterday.

As the scent of the tea reached him, his sharp brows furrowed slowly. His expression was anything but pleasant.

Standing nearby, Logan quickly interjected, "Ms. Clark, Mr. Vance doesn't like anything with gin—"

"Alright."

Before Logan could finish, his words were immediately proven wrong. Samuel suddenly lifted the cup and took a sip.

Logan stood there, stunned, as though he had just seen a ghost. He wondered if Kylie had cast a spell on Samuel because no other explanation could explain why a man who had never touched ginger in his life suddenly started drinking ginger tea.

Samuel had changed. He would never change his schedule for anyone or end work early just to rush home.

Logan wondered if Samuel had finally succumbed to the charms of a woman and was on his way to becoming a lovesick fool.

Samuel was the dream of countless women!

Over the years, many had tried to sleep with him, from celebrities to socialites. But no one had ever succeeded like Kylie to have married him so easily.

With this in mind, Logan looked at her with newfound complexity. He decided perhaps it was time to change his attitude toward her.

When Kylie walked out of the study with the empty cup, the butler immediately raced over, his voice laced with nervous curiosity as he asked, "Did Mr. Vance drink it?"

"He did." Kylie gave him a puzzled look. "What's the matter, Jim? You seemed nervous."

"Mr. Vance really drank the tea?" Jim was so shocked that his mouth hung wide open. "You saw him drink it with your own eyes?"

"Yes. Why? Was there something wrong with the tea?"
