At the thought of this, Iris hurriedly pulled out her phone and dialed his number. The call rang for a long time, but it never got through.

At that moment, Samuel was peeling shrimps. So, he let the call go to voicemail, showing no intention to answer it.

Once Samuel was done peeling the shrimps, he put them in front of her and wiped his hand with a handkerchief.

This time, he picked it up.

"Samuel, when will you be arriving?" Iris' sweet and tender voice could be heard through the phone. "I'm not rushing you. I'm just curious. I can wait for you for as long as you need."

Samuel glanced at Kylie.

She didn't even raise her head as she said, "Stop looking at me. Just go if you want to. I'm sure Jim is going to stare at me until I finish my food even if you're not around."

Samuel looked away. Then, in a deep and charming voice, he said, "Don't wait for me. Go ahead and have the meal, and put the tab on me. I'll give Logan a call and have him take you wherever you want afterward."

Iris was completely shocked. "Do you mean I shouldn't wait for you before I start eating, or…?" Her grip on her phone gradually tightened, and the veins on her hands popped. She would've crushed her phone if she could.

Was she supposed to stop waiting for him in general?
