Chloe was munching away on her food, a smug smile playing across her face as she watched Cicely on her phone. “I’ve already made a public statement today. How awkward would it be if no artists turn up?” 

Cicely arched her eyebrow, “Indeed, it’ll be quite awkward.” 

Chloe just chuckled, not seeming to care much about the situation. 

Infinity Media had released an official statement online, stating that their artists would not easily defect to other companies. Many artists even shared this statement. The message was loud and clear. 

“Infinity Media has made a statement, and practically everyone online is all over this hot topic.” Cicely put down her utensils, leaned back in her chair, and started scrolling through the trending topics. 

The internet was filled with accusations against Infinity Media. 

“…What a bummer. I’ve been waiting all day for some news, thinking that Starlight International would finally land a blow on Infinity Media, but it’s still going strong.”

After a while of silence, she rolled over, trying to snuggle up to Damon. He still resisted the urge to hold her as he usually would. She seemed to be getting better at winning him over, taking his hand and placing it on her waist, and rubbing against him. “I’m cold.” 

Damon’s lips twitched, what a handful she was. 

He turned around, wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her into his embrace. Chloe chuckled softly into his chest. 

“Still cold?”
