The Enticing CEO’s Chosen Bride novel Chapter 1899

Perhaps it was the rom-com series that set the spark, or perhaps it was just Boyd, leading her by the nose.

She could only explore sex through theoretical discussions, her understanding based solely on distant observations driven by curiosity. Instead of mingling with other men as suggested by Boyd, she thought it might be more appropriate if it were Boyd she explored this with. If she could have pushed aside a sliver of that reason to think of something else, maybe the outcome would have been entirely different.

--

In that moment, she thought the pain would kill her. The pain made her spew all the swear words she had bottled up for years.

Those damn movies were full of lies. What the hell was there to enjoy?!

A layer of cold sweat broke out on Yasmine's forehead in an instant. She pushed Boyd away, kicked at him, and vented her anger however she could.d2

Boyd was taken aback by her reaction, his handsome face a mix of restraint and panic as he kept kissing her. "Sorry, Yasmine. Hold on a bit."

"Get lost!"

"Yasmine, don't move around. Be good."

Yasmine gasped in pain, and Boyd was determined not to stop.

If Yasmine often said anything, it was that there wasn't much difference between men and women, except maybe men's bones were a bit harder, and there was quite a gap in strength. She knew this, and still, she was utterly dominated by him in this aspect.

In the end, she was completely led along.

The pain was still there, but after the initial cut, it wasn't worth mentioning anymore.

She had no idea how long it lasted.

The next morning, the alarm on her phone, which she had set the night before, went off. Yasmine furrowed her brow, tried to roll over to find her phone, but a sudden move made her freeze.

The pain in her body, as if she had been run over by a semi-truck, and the persistent sensation in certain area made her eyes snap open seconds later.

Warm breath whispered at her ear. She turned her head to see Boyd's face resting on her shoulder, his long eyebrows knitting together at the interruption before he slowly opened his eyes.

The sight that met him was Yasmine's beautiful, radiant face, her hair spread loosely around her, a few strands sticking to her cheek in a natural, casual way.

He smiled a little, and the hand resting on her waist exerted a slight force, pulling her closer to him. He nestled his entire body into the nape of her neck, rubbing against it gently. "Am I dreaming?"

Yasmine's brows knitted together as she silently processed the current reality. Everything from last night came back to her bit by bit.

Upon realizing that it was all irrevocable, she closed her eyes, placing a hand on her forehead.

And Boyd, now with his wits about him, tightened his grip on her waist before lifting his head. "Yasmine..." His tone was decidedly sober.

Yasmine took a deep breath, "Let's get up."

But Boyd didn't let her go, "I wasn't drunk last night."

Yasmine's expression darkened, "So you did it on purpose last night?"

"Yes."

Anger simmered in Yasmine's chest, "You've got some nerve, relying on alcohol to embolden your harassment."

Boyd slightly raised himself, pressing down on half of Yasmine's body, "Alcohol is a good thing."

He took the rare opportunity to look at her up close, his gaze drifting from her face to the bare skin not covered by the thin blanket. Below the delicate collarbone, the faint outline of two hidden mounds could be seen, marked with a few eye-catching reds.

Boyd's eyes darkened, and he looked back at Yasmine's face. His familiar gaze made Yasmine's eyes narrow with warning, but before she could speak, Boyd pressed down once more.

She struggled, and he continued to press down with his full weight, shamelessly using his strength to subdue her.

"Boyd!"

"Mhm..." Boyd responded to her, still patiently kissing the corner of her lips, trailing down her collarbone, burying his head in the crook of her neck.

He used every trick in the book, nibbling and teasing, and then during her brief moment of distraction, he made his move again.

The instant pain from last night still haunted her, making her resist and unable to relax. She wasn't prepared, but it was just a bit uncomfortable compared to the initial shock of last night.

She tried to back away, but he, ever so considerate, followed her.

Her tightly furrowed brow gradually relaxed, and her sensations were slowly invaded by waves of pleasure. She bit down on her thin lips, not about to let Boyd feel even more triumphant.

But her body's reactions were enough to please Boyd. His advances grew more fervent, and amidst the everything, she desperately sought a point of stability. Her fingers left clear traces on Boyd's back. She was unaware of the evidence she was leaving, but Boyd felt it profoundly.

The sexual tension was clear and undeniable. There was no reason for anyone to play dumb anymore.

Yasmine lay amidst the soft bedding, her long hair somewhat disheveled across the pillow, her eyes half-closed in a languid manner. Wishing to hear her speak was like hoping for a miracle.

Seeing her like this, for the first time, thoroughly ravaged, brought Boyd immense satisfaction. He adored this look on her, something no one else should witness.

Drawing her close, he smoothed the stray hairs from her face, her cheeks still flushed from the afterglow, adding a different charm. He couldn't help but kiss her forehead and watched her eyelids flutter, her long lashes trembling with them.

"Are you okay?"

Yasmine tucked her chin in slightly, avoiding the breath on her forehead.

She buried herself in his embrace, mainly because she was too lazy to respond with her voice.

This small movement unwittingly pleased Boyd. He remained still in that position, occasionally kissing Yasmine.

At first, her nerves would jump at his touch, but she soon stopped paying it any mind. After all, she was already like this. If he wanted to do something else, that would truly make him no different from a sex maniac.

They already had sex, so a kiss here and there was hardly a big deal.

Groggy and half-asleep, it must have been about thirty minutes before Yasmine began to regain some of her strength. Her voice was muffled and weak, "I don't wanna go to class. Get someone to call in sick for me."

"Sure thing."

Boyd reached for the cordless phone on the nightstand and quickly arranged everything with a couple of succinct sentences.

As he set down the phone, Yasmine turned over in his arms. Boyd pressed gently on her shoulder, "What are you doing?"

Despite his light touch, Yasmine just flopped back down, her face buried in the pillow.

While he should probably feel guilty for seeing her so depleted, her limpness was just too much for him to handle. "Feeling any better? Need help with anything?"

Yasmine's voice came out muffled by the pillow, devoid of energy, "I am so tired and I need a shower. If you touch me again, I'm kicking you out."

She didn't care whose bed or apartment this was. She might even consider torching the place later.

"Yeah."

Ending the call, Serana turned to Derek, her lips twitching, "You heard. They are together now."

Derek rubbed his chin, looking conflicted. "So what exactly did those two get up to last night? That woman never stays out all night. She didn't just throw herself away on her first try, did she?"

Serana kept her lips tightly sealed, pausing as she put away her phone, "Can you not overthink other people's business?"

Derek glanced at her, his eyes hardening, his brows furrowing. "What's your relationship with Boyd?"

Serana was taken aback, "Childhood friends."

"That means nothing then." Derek cut in, "I reckon Boyd's had his eye on Yasmine for a while. If he trapped her last night and did something despicable... Anyway, you should probably keep your distance. Women don't always think straight when it comes to love."

Derek was being diplomatic, but Serana got the message. When nothing really happened between Yasmine and Boyd, Yasmine didn't seem too concerned. If they had clarified things last night and solidified their relationship, Serana thought Yasmine might eventually start to mind her presence.

"If they really are together, needless to say, I'd be happy for them. I'll make my stance clear to them."

Derek looked at her for a moment, "Just be careful not to put Boyd in a tough spot."

Serana's expression soured slightly.

After all, Derek was a grown man. He wouldn't say too much to an orphaned girl.

--

Yasmine woke up starving around one in the afternoon.

Boyd was lounging beside her, with a book in hand, while his other hand idly stroked her hair.

Feeling her stir, he looked down and saw her eyes briefly scan the book title. "Awake?" Setting the book aside, he leaned in to kiss her hair.

She was warm, her scent wafting from beneath the covers, and he couldn't resist nuzzling closer.

"Hungry?"

Yasmine stretched languidly, a lazy hum escaping her, "Mmm."

Boyd chuckled, "Give me a sec, I'll heat up lunch."

"Mmm." Yasmine flipped over, snatching the covers to bury herself again.

But this time Boyd didn't indulge her. He lifted her blanket, held her waist, and sat her up in the middle of the bed. "Don't fall back asleep now."

Yasmine glanced at him, "Hungry."

Boyd nodded affirmatively, "I'm on it."

--

Yasmine wasn't one to eat in the bedroom, but she had a hunch that Boyd would bring food up to her in bed. So the moment he left, she hopped out of bed and shuffled to the bathroom to freshen up. She rummaged under the bed for her clothes, but the scent clinging to the fabric was so off-putting, she tossed them aside without a second thought. Flinging open the closet, she grabbed one of Boyd’s shirts and a pair of his pants to don.

The pants were way too long and baggy, but she didn't care how expensive they looked. With a quick maneuver, she tied a knot right where the zipper ended, managing to keep them from falling off her hips. Hoisting the dragging hems up, she stepped out of the bedroom.
