Jessica introduced each one, and with every introduction, Alex’s expression worsened, 

He could see that these people were not just Jessica’s friends. They were also likely her ex–boyfriends. And there were so many of them! 

He had suspected she might have had many relationships in her life, but he never imagined there would be this many! 

How could she be so cheap? It was despicable! 

His face flashed with fury and anger 

“Are these your ex–boyfriends? All of them?” he questioned. 

Jessica nodded. “Yes, these few are, but not these ones. These pursued me in the past, but I rejected them. These are the ones who had feelings for me.” 

As soon as she finished speaking, Alex angrily shoved her aside with an arrogant look “You’ve had so many past relationships? Doesn’t that make you feel dirty? Jessica, don’t you have any idea of the morals a woman should have? I never expected you to be this dirty! Jessica Harris, I misjudged you!” 

Jessica fell to the ground, her long hair covering her face and hiding her expression of despair. 

Nadia, who had been following Jessica closely, overheard her mumble a nasty slur. 

Nadia stared at Alex, filled with rage, and then at Jessica, who was lying on the floor. Nadia felt her worry for Jessica vanish. 

She had seen exactly what land of man Alex was a complete jerk. 

But Nadia was a fool. She actually killed herself for him. She gave up her education, abandoned her family, and lost her friends–all for this scumbag. 

Nadia felt regretful for Jessica, but there was nothing she could do to change it now. All she could hope was that Jessica wouldn’t get hurt by Alex. Then again, maybe she was worrying too much. 

Jessica got up from the floor. She was more furious than Alex. Her voice became harsher and louder as she cried, “But I gave up guys who were richer, more handsome, more elegant, more loyal, and more capable than you. Isn’t that proof that I love you? 

“You know how much I love money and how self–absorbed I am. And yet, simply because you bought me flowers, I agreed to be your girlfriend. Isn’t that enough proof that I love you?” 

Her cheeks were smudged with tears. 

“It seems I really was wrong about you, Alex! I was wrong about everything! It’s my fault for falling for the wrong person!” 

As she turned to leave, Alex suddenly grabbed her. “No, wait… I’m just jealous of all the men you had before. I thought…” 

“You thought what? I was just fooling around with them. If I wanted to fool around, why would I choose you? Look at them, aren’t they all better than you in every way? Aren’t they more generous than you? 

“When I was with them, do you know how much money they spent on me? Do you know how much effort they put into winning me over?
