The Good Girl's Revenge novel Chapter 28

Meredith smiled and handed over a report. As a result, she was unceremoniously mocked.

Being watched by everyone, she couldn't bear it any longer. Therefore, she hid in the bathroom.

The "cold water" splashed on her face, giving her a moment to wake up. But then there was endless confusion. What was she going to do?

Could it be that the darkness of the past haunted her forever?

"Meredith, things have been tough lately. I've seen it all." At this moment, a gorgeous figure appeared behind her. "Tonight, I'll treat you to dinner and talk about these things. How about that?"

The person who was talking to Meredith was Linda, the deputy director of sales. Meredith didn't know much about Linda, only that she was very good at doing business and was quite competent. In short, Meredith could not afford to offend Linda.

After work, Linda took Meredith to a bar. As soon as she entered the private room, Meredith saw a few men and beautiful girls sitting beside them. At first glance, Meredith knew that they were playboys.

Meredith immediately wanted to leave but Linda garb her. "Do you still want to stay in the company? These are the company's clients. If you leave now, you will offend them."

When Meredith heard this, she realised that she couldn't walk out of the room, so he had to sit aside with her head down, hoping that no one would notice her.

However, it was obvious that Rachel was not going to let Meredith simply sit in her seat. Because she noticed that the eyes of a few of them fell on Meredith from time to time, which made her even more certain that she had made the right choice in bringing Meredith here.

Meredith, who looked a little similar to the current famous star Ava, looked more pure and less glamorous, but it was enough to attract these men.

After a while, Rachel gave Meredith a glass of wine and pushed her. "Go and drink a toast to Mr. Lee."

"I can't drink." Meredith told the truth and she really didn't know how to drink.

"Drinking is one drink after another, and then you learn." Rachel looked at her with a threatening look in her eyes.

Meredith had no choice but to walk over, but she was very nervous, afraid of causing any trouble. At this time, she didn't know who suddenly stretched out his foot and tripped her.

Meredith staggered, and the red wine in her hand directly spilled all over Mr. Lee's body. The wine dripped down, which made Mr. Lee look distinctly embarrassed.

"I didn't mean it!" Meredith subconsciously took a step back and panicked.

"You're excellent at picking parts to spill your wine on. Should we make way for it?" The man who had just tripped over his leg opened his mouth and joked.

Many of the red wine that Meredith had just spilled was between Mr. Lee's legs and was in an awkward position.

"Well, if you help me clean up, I won't blame you." Mr. Lee looked at Meredith with a smile, his eyes full of undisguised desire.

Meredith frowned and looked at Mr. Lee's smiling face. She suddenly realized that these people were probably doing this on purpose.

"I'm sorry. I'll pay you back for the clothes. I don't think it's possible to wipe your clothes clean when they've been soiled by red wine."

With that, Meredith stepped back.

Mr. Lee saw Meredith so ignorant. He yanked her over and pressed her on her lap. "This cloth is custom-made overseas. Even if you were sold, you couldn't afford to pay. You'll do as I say or I'll have to make you lick me clean."

When the crowd saw that he was going to do something randy, they left with a laugh. Meredith saw that Linda had also left her to go. "No, don't leave me here alone."
