The Good Girl's Revenge novel Chapter 66

Derek, who had just woken up, with the unbuttoned pajamas, showing his firm chest, didn't let her find any flaws on his face at such a close distance.

For the first time, Meredith felt that the word "Bootylicious" could be used to describe a man, and it was still appropriate.

Derek glanced at Meredith's phone. The name on the caller ID was Parker.

Derek raised an eyebrow. This man was really persistent. He called early in the morning. No one believed him if he said that he didn't have any thoughts.

Meredith was a little embarrassed and wanted to push Derek away. At that moment, the phone stopped ringing.

But soon, Parker called again.

"Still don't answer?"

Derek's tone was sarcastic.

Meredith almost rolled her eyes. He was pressing her down. How would she answer the phone?

"Just answer it. Are you going to say something inappropriate?"

Derek did not show any intention of moving aside. His righteous appearance made her feel as if he was acting rashly as he should.

"I have a right to privacy, too. I'll go out and answer it."

"The whole the Xaviers is mine. There's no use going anywhere. Do you want to answer it? I can do it for you." Derek looked at her threateningly, and Meredith immediately held the phone tightly and pressed the answer button.

"Meredith, where are you? I came to see you. Why aren't you in the apartment? Are you in trouble?"

Parker's anxious voice came from the receiver. He got up early this morning and took breakfast to look for Meredith, but he searched the entire apartment and still couldn't find her.

Parker's caring tone warmed Meredith's heart and made her feel even more guilty.

It was all of Derek's fault. She was so tired yesterday that after falling asleep in the car, she forgot about calling Parker.

He must be very anxious right now.

"Sorry, My... My friend is back. He was worried about me, so I went out first and forgot to tell you."

Hearing Meredith called him a friend, the man who had been listening to her not far away looked a little unhappy.

He lowered his head and blew lightly to her gender ear.

Meredith, who was racking her brains to lie, was caught off guard. A tingling sensation came from her sensitive earlobe, causing her to gasp and her voice to change.

"What's wrong? Your voice doesn't sound right." Parker heard this and asked quickly.

Was Meredith in some kind of trouble, but it was hard to tell him?

"No, no, I'm really fine." Meredith glared at the perpetrator, but Derek looked at her with a smile on his face, which instead made her embarrassed, so she could only look away.

"I'm a little busy now, so bye. Don't worry about me. If there will be something wrong, I will..."

Before Meredith could finish speaking, Derek suddenly reached out and pinched her chin.

Meredith simply hung up the phone and glanced at him angrily. Was this man mad? Why did he do that when she called?
