Was that really Xavier's doing?

Was that mysterious figure my son?

How could my son be so amazing that he could help me turn the situation around? I didn't dare to think too much about it and planned to ask Xavier when the time came.

I was afraid that Xavier would have to wait too long for me, so I ran a few red lights on the way. When I reached the hospital, it was almost 11:00 pm.

Yvonne glowered at me with her hands crossed.

"Oh, so you still remembered to show up," Yvonne chided sarcastically.

I couldn't be bothered to deal with her. Pushing her aside, I planned to step into the ward.

"Cole, do you care for the kids at all?" Yvonne was starting to ramble. "You'd abandon your kid all for that woman?"

I covered Jonas' ears. Why did Yvonne act like a shrew every time I saw her?

"The children are here. Watch your mouth." I had to suppress my anger while talking to her.

If it were not for Xavier, I would never have answered her call.

"Oh, so you know that you have children too? Cole, I don't care who you marry. You just need to hide it better. Don't let Xavier find out about this."

Xavier had been down recently because he thought that I no longer wanted him. If it were not for his recent sickness, he would not have brought up my name.

Yvonne did not hope for my affairs to affect Xavier.

"You're one to talk." I thought about Yvonne creating a new fashion line for Jared and found it ironic. "You've done so much for Jared. What have you done for Xavier?"

I looked at Jonas' eyes darting between us and no longer wanted to quarrel with Yvonne.
