The Heart Left Behind (Cole and Yvonne) novel Chapter 255

The advertisement featuring Xavier aired the next day. The moment he arrived at school, he became the center of attention—especially among the younger kids.

"Xavier, you're so amazing. You even filmed a commercial!"

"Xavier, you know how to code too? Why didn't you ever tell us that?"

"Xavier, your mom is so beautiful."

Xavier found himself surrounded by a group of enthusiastic children and was a bit flustered. He had been worried that they might look down on him since no one else at school had done commercials.

He was surprised as he looked at him. "You guys still want to play with me?"

Children didn't tend to think too deeply about things. The moment they heard Xavier's question, they had puzzled expressions on their faces.

"Why wouldn't we? You're so amazing. We love playing with you."

Some of them looked like they wanted to hug him right then.

"My mom told me to ask you how you're so talented. She wants me to go on commercials too."

"Xavier, you and your brother have the same parents, right? Why doesn't your brother do commercials too?"

Xavier lifted his head proudly, "He's not like me."

With his head held high, he walked past Jonas and asked, "Jonas, did you see my commercial?"

Jonas hesitated in his steps before he said, "Daddy doesn't like you filming commercials."

Xavier immediately frowned when he heard that. "He doesn't let me do anything, but now, I'm able to make money myself. And look at you, you're still spending his money."

Xavier seemed incredibly proud. The kids around him chimed in as well.

"You're just jealous of Xavier."

"Exactly, you're just jealous of Xavier. He's so much better than you."
