"Hell?"
I laughed coldly, "Thanks to your upbringing, he's already practically a devil."
Xavier was ruthless and calculating, and would do anything for his goals. He would even hurt his own brother now. After everything he did, it was time for him to pay the price for his actions.
"Yvonne, you should've taught him that actions have consequences. Those who do bad deeds will be punished," I said.
I had already made up my mind about not letting him remain in the entertainment industry. If the media took any photos, then so be it. It was the perfect reason to announce Xavier's retirement from the industry.
Our conversation was clearly heard Xavier.
When he realized my intentions, he started to struggle furiously. "Let me go. I'm not leaving the entertainment industry! Let go of me."
He had just tasted fame and admiration. How could he give it all up so easily?
Yvonne had taken advantage of Xavier's vanity to ensure that he would stay here willingly. She wasn't fit to be a mother at all.
I pushed the door open, and just as Yvonne said, the cameras didn't stop flashing.
Those people had probably been waiting here for quite some time. The intense lights blinded me for a moment.
One of the reporters rushed over. "Mr. Joplin, why are you here? Are you bringing Xavier back because he's starting to make money through endorsements?"
"Are you and Ms. Langley planning on getting back together? If you really are, then what's going to happen to Ms. Sommerton?"
"Do you regret not choosing to raise Xavier?"
I sneered at them. Their probing questions seemed more and more offensive.
"It seems all of you know so much about my family affairs," I said.
Hearing that, those reporters looked a bit embarrassed for a moment. However, they quickly regained their composure.
