"You're the reason Xavier's kindergarten refuses to accept him." Initially, Yvonne wanted to finish the kindergarten registration for Xavier today.
This kindergarten was the best here, and she didn't have that much time to look after Xavier. On top of that, he was at the right age for a kindergarten with a daycare program.
"What on earth will it take for you to let us go?" Yvonne was the one who started the whole shenanigan, and yet she was screaming bloody murder at me.
Yvonne was probably acting this way because of what had happened with the kindergarten. Additionally, the news they had been falsely spreading on the internet didn't cause any substantial damage to me.
"Ask Jared to let me go first." I didn't want to interact too much with Yvonne. I turned around and was about to leave, but she grabbed my wrist.
"Xavier's your kid. You have to help him."
"You proved that he didn't need me from the moment you took him away." With that in mind, I wouldn't care about what went on in his life either. This was especially true when it came to raising him. I couldn't keep cleaning up her messes for her.
I wasn't done talking. Just as I was about to hurl a few sarcastic remarks at Yvonne, I heard footsteps behind me.
I hadn't even turned around when I heard a voice. "You're right. I don't need you."
What was Xavier doing here? Who brought him here?
"How did you come here?"
"Let me take a look at you, Xavier. Did you get hurt or something?"
Xavier heard what we said, and he responded very obediently, "I came out by myself."
"What about Jonas?"
Both of them had been together this whole time.
"He's at home."
Was Jonas alone at home? I looked at Xavier helplessly, feeling frustrated. "You can't just come out all by yourself."
