Anya had thought about the countless possible reasons Zachary might've said, but she had never expected this was how he would put it.
"You're showing bias, Mr. Lloyd. How am I strong? How do you figure that I don't have anyone to look after and protect me?" Anya was pissed off. She deliberately distanced herself from Zachary because of what happened with Ellen.
To her surprise, Zachary didn't take the initiative to look for her. He even gave her the cold shoulder.
At first, Anya was upset with him. After she did some investigation, however, she realized that Ellen had never seen Zachary again after their previous encounter. That made her feel much better.
Yesterday, Anya even thought about making things easier for Zachary by taking the initiative and looking for him today. Last night, however, he asked her to give support to another lady's livestream.
Anya immediately realized that another love rival had shown up and found Zachary. With that said, she didn't think too much of it because he said it was his younger sister.
Anya wanted to feel at ease. So, she deliberately posed the question. In the end, she got an answer that made her blood boil. Then, she flew into a rage when she learned that Zachary was already living together with a girl named Molly.
How could Zachary have done that? Did he find Anya ugly? Was it because she didn't have a curvaceous figure?
Anya felt very sorry for herself when she thought about the special treatment Zachary showed to Molly. It wasn't easy for her to fall in love with a man. As fate would have it, however, he had no feelings for her.
Anya had already taken the initiative to win Zachary's heart, but he just kept rejecting her on several occasions. She couldn't help but wonder if she just wasn't attractive enough.
The capper came when Zachary explained his actions by saying that Molly was a pitiful girl who needed someone to look after and protect.
"Knock it off, Anya!" Zachary sighed helplessly as he reached out and rubbed Anya's head. She swatted his hand away and turned around sulkily.
