Nathaniel rushed into the bathroom and picked up the unconscious Freya.
He froze when he carried her up. How can she be so light?
He did carry her before; she at least weighed like a normal person. Now, he felt like he was carrying air, as if she weighed nothing.
He calmed down, and he put her on the sofa bed in the other room, as she had just vomited on his bed.
He made a phone call to Koen.
"Mr. Morgan?" Koen did not dare to leave; he was waiting in the private room below.
"Ask Ozzy to come here; someone fainted!"
Koen was taken aback, and he quickly phoned Ozzy and asked him to hurry up and come to the Red Shift. He was amused that Nathaniel was being so rough with Freya.
How long has it been since Mr. Morgan went upstairs?
Nathaniel also asked Della to send in a cleaner to tidy up the room. Ozzy arrived with a medical kit in a short time.
They had been working for Nathaniel for years, so they more or less knew his temperament.
Ozzy was Nathaniel's personal doctor; he had been working for him for a few years.
He was tall, and he was in his twenties. He was a well-known doctor with a doctoral degree. He was always clean-shaven.
Koen was wild, whereas he was mature.
"Mr. Morgan." He walked toward Nathaniel.
Nathaniel pointed toward the sofa bed and said, "The patient is inside."
Ozzy was stunned to see him being anxious; he did not even care when he was diagnosed with some kind of issue with his heart. Who is inside that makes Mr. Morgan this nervous?
He walked into the room with curiosity; he almost dropped his medical kit upon seeing Freya.
Why is she here?
Why is the neckline of her dress torn?
"Hurry up and look at her!" Nathaniel's friend crumpled.
Ozzy did not dare to waste any time, and he squatted down in front of her. He looked at Nathaniel and said, "Mr. Morgan, please go out for a while."
Nathaniel walking around would affect his diagnosis.
Nathaniel took a deep breath, walked out of the room, and came to the
He felt uneasy; he could not suppress his irritability. He fumbled out a cigarette and wanted to light it, but he stopped after thinking of the unwell Freya.
Nathaniel pinched the cigarette with his finger; he felt like the time was stagnant.
After a while, Ozzy came out of the room.
"How is it?" Nathaniel quickly turned and looked at him.
Ozzy seemed to be in shock, but he composed himself before speaking.
"Mr. Morgan, Ms. Gomez is not doing well. I've given her a drip, and now she can sleep peacefully for a while. I suggest taking her to the hospital to get a full body checkup."
"What do you mean?" He frowned fiercely.
Ozzy was intimidated by him; he answered, "Ms. Gomez has internal bleeding in her stomach; she should be hospitalized for quite some time."
"She also has rheumatoid arthritis; there are also problems with her lungs and heart."
Nathaniel's face turned even darker after hearing his words.
"And… And was she abused before?" Ozzy gathered his courage to ask.
He merely put her in jail for three years without asking for anyone to abuse her. What had she been through all these years?
He might be ignoring her, but he did not intend to force her to the edge. Who was behind it?
