Eugene didn’t stay over that night. Madeline lay in bed, but sleep eluded her as she had slept ton long during the day. 

The light in the room was a warm yellow. She lay in bed, looking at the two rings around her neck. The diamonds on the ring were bright under the light, but she didn’t try them on. After all, a ring had a different meaning from other accessories and wasn’t a gift typically given between siblings. 

Madeline fiddled with the rings. “They’re so weird. There are so many good people in the world. Why do they have to choose me? 

Although being firmly chosen was a happy thing, she had 12 brothers. It was inevitable that some of them would have this idea. 

“Maybe they just… wanted to marry me when we were line? And that grew into an obsession in their adulthood? It would be inappropriate for me to really date my brothers. The answer came. “We’re from the crew of Cheers. Our director has seen you in the crew of Immortalism‘ before and thinks your temperament is very suitable for one of our roles. We’d like to ask if you’d want to try out for the role. We’re holding an audition in the capital soon. Are you interested? 

Madeline finally remembered. She didn’t expect that her performance at the time would attract the attention of a director. Her luck was too good. “Cheers” was a huge historical movie adaptation, and Madeline certainly was aware of it

Madeline then searched the internet for the original book “Cheers” was adapted from. She had nothing else to do, so she started reading the novel overnight. She finally finished reading it after three days. It just so happened to be the day of the audition too. 

Madeline had printed out her resume, which looked simple. There was only the role of the second female lead, Rachel Chambers, from “Fake Confessions and nothing else. 

After she arrived, she waited outside the audition room. There were still many people there. On the door were the words “Audition for ‘Cheers.” She took a picture and posted it on Instagram as a way to secretly cheer herself up.

Yohannes couldn’t care less what Jasper said, as he only asked that out of politeness. “Maddie is auditioning for ‘Cheers! Call them and take care of it. Money isn’t a problem.” 

Jasper said, “Wait. My wife is waiting for me to take her photos. I’m already on vacation!” 

“Then, have someone else do it. You must help her get the role she wants,” Yohannes said impatiently with a thoughtful look in his eyes. “I don’t think I have Mr. Seinfeld’s phone number. Forget it. I’ll ask Diana. Her last movie was Immortalism with him.” 

Jasper hurriedly said, “I’ll take care of it for you. Don’t worry. Diana’s relationship with you…” He sighed. Usually, Yohannes didn’t like interacting with big shots like Diana at all. Even his visit to her set before was done unwillingly. But, now he was actually initiating contact with Diana for 

Madeline’s sake. 

Hearing Jasper’s agreement, Yohannes nodded and said, “Then, continue your vacation. I won’t bother you anymore.”

Madeline had already received the topic for her audition and performed it. The auditions were done in groups of three, and Madeline was undoubtedly the best performer in her group. 

Martin watched from under the stage and scored her with satisfaction. However, he was confused as to why Madeline, who had played a second female lead, would participate in the audition for the fifth female lead.
