“L… I have classes tomorrow. I’m worried that I won’t be able to sleep at night.” Madeline didn’t say that she did not want to make a fool of herself at the scene.

“Yohannes, where are you?” The assistant was confused. “Didn’t you say that you and Diana would take pictures together?”

The proprietor, Liam, was uncorking a bottle of wine. Upon spotting Yohannes‘ arrival, he couldn’t suppress his laughter and quipped, “Yohannes, you’ve managed to find time to drop by? After all my invitations, you never had a moment to spare.” 

Yohannes sat in the window seat and hooked his fingers. “Two bottles of wine.” 

“What’s going on?” Liam picked up two bottles of wine and walked over.

The wine bottles were placed on the table. 

He lazily spread his hands and said, “No way. Did you think of your young lady again! Given your own elevated status, you shouldn’t let these things trouble you. Being an idol is more like a leisure activity for you. The norms of the entertainment industry can’t really hold you down.” 

Yohannes poured a glass of wine and swirled it in his hand. Through the glass, he observed the vivid chandelier lights, their colors dancing and reflecting. 

These lights cascaded into his eyes, which held a notably profound and enigmatic allure.

Yohannes took a sip of the wine, even though he didn’t appear to be a particularly skilled drinker. 

In fact, alcohol couldn’t numb his nerves.

He spoke, suddenly laughing at himself. “She used to say she likes me because she always thought I was a girl.
