The Returning EX (John and Sophia) novel Chapter 1902

Chapter 1902 Yulia Comes

Cindy thought about something, then she placed her hands on Ian’s shoulders. “Why don’t you come see my parents when you’re free?” she asked in a voice only they could hear.

Cindy was starting to get a little worried. Ian did want to see her parents, and Yulia was being more and more annoying, so Cindy wanted to confirm their relationship as soon as possible. She had faith in Ian, but the entertainment industry might force him to do something he didn’t want to, and Yulia was a schemer, so she had to be careful.

Ian said gently, “Looks like I have to thank Yulia then.”

Cindy pursed her lips. She was trying her best not to laugh, but a smile broke through anyway. “If she finds out she accelerated our relationship’s progress, she’d go berserk.”

Ian pulled Cindy’s hands off his shoulders and held them in his hand. “I don’t really care about her.”

Yulia saw Ian and Cindy the moment she came in. She said hello so loudly just to tell the two of them that she had arrived, but they didn’t even look at her. Instead, they huddled closer and kept whispering among themselves.

Yulia didn’t look at them, but she stole glances from the corner of her eye. She didn’t know that Ian and Cindy were so sweet in private, but now that she saw them, she knew they had been holding back before. Yulia was annoyed by the sight, but she had to hold herself down. She repressed her irritation and kept smiling.

Then she went inside and said hi to everyone.

Everyone was flabbergasted, as they didn’t expect Yulia to show up. None of them were friends with her, but they knew who she was. They wanted to secure a spot on Yulia’s magazine’s cover, and if they could have Yulia herself take the photos, all the better. They didn’t know why she was here, nor did they ever talk to her, but they were still happy to see her, and they even shook hands with her.

Compared to them, Ian’s reaction was a lot colder. He and Cindy were still sitting in the same spot. They ignored Yulia and happily talked about their own stuff.

Cindy heard it when the other guys went to say hi to Yulia, and she heard Yulia greeting them back happily. She would have been angry before this, but after she invited Ian over to see her parents, now she was only amused by Yulia’s antics.

If the public knew that Ian had met Cindy’s parents, Yulia would start to really panic. Or even better, if she and Ian were to get married, Yulia might go crazy. The very thought of that interested Cindy, and she wanted to see what might happen, so she wasn’t angry anymore.

After Yulia said hi to everyone, she finally looked at Ian, and she pretended to be surprised to see him. “Oh, you’re here, Ian? Didn’t see you there.”

Everyone in the room besides Ian, Cindy, and Yulia knew that Yulia was just acting.

Ian’s response was cold. He merely nodded and said a quiet hi, but that response was normal in everyone’s eyes. After all, Yulia and him got embroiled in a little scandal before, and it wasn’t pretty, so it was normal for Ian to keep some distance between him and Yulia.

Yulia looked at Cindy, and her smile broadened. “We meet again, Miss Selby.”

“Indeed,” Cindy replied coolly. “This is a coincidence.”

As there was a crowd around them, Yulia didn’t want to talk much. She glanced at Ian one last time before turning away to chat with someone else.
