Aiden dared to speak so bluntly because the signal in the office was blocked and the monitoring devices on Charlie were also jammed. He looked at Charlie coldly, with anger and sorrow in his eyes. 

He didn’t want to think badly about Charlie either, but what happened forced him to think more. 

If he was poisoned, then he wouldn’t have been so angry. It was because the Shaw family owed Charlie.
